Comments about ASUS All-in-One ET2220IUTI-B019K 21.5" Multi-Touch Desktop Computer:
I use my computer mainly for my photography. I really like the all-in-one. It was very easy to set up and saves space. Had to adjust a little to Windows 8 but love being able to use the touch screen. The speed of the processor is great and I don't miss all the wires of my previous system.

Comments about ASUS All-in-One ET2220IUTI-B019K 21.5" Multi-Touch Desktop Computer:
I've had my Windows XP at the office for about 11 years. Since it will no longer be supported in 2014, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new computer. After searching, I found this ASUS at B&H for the best price. I went to the store and left with the computer in less than 30 minutes. The staff were friendly and offered to help with any assistance before purchasing the item.
Setting up this computer is extrememly simple. It's easy to unpack it from the box and sets up in minutes. When Windows 8 starts, it immediately guides you through the initial steps and connects via the WiFi. Quick and easy.
So far, I'm very happy with Windows 8. It's easy to use and works very well with all the apps installed. I also transfered my Office 2010 which has run perfectly. The computer has a great screen which is large and very bright. The touchscreen is a great feature and is quite accurate. I find switching between touchscreen, mouse and keyboard to be the best approach since various programs work better with one or another. The included ASUS keyboard is great; it's wireless and has the 'chicklet' type keys that are quite easy to use, IMO. The mouse is wireless and works well; it's rather small, but I have no complaints about it. What's nice is that both the keyboard and mouse run off the same dongle which takes up 1 USB port for 2 devices. Nice. BTW, this computer has 1 USB 2.0 and 4 USB 3.0 (which is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices). So, I've had enough for printer and other devices. The sound from the built in speakers (running along the bottom below the screen) is really nice. I've played a variety of videos from YouTube which have been clear and crisp. No external speakers are necessary IMO.
Just a couple of minor issues ... the touchscreen is very reflective. So, it's easy to see reflections in the screen at times. Also, fingerprints ... lots by the end of a day. I've used a moist papertowel to wipe the screen clean. Just be prepared to clean it often. Regarding Windows 8, it's updating every day so far. I guess there are bugs, although they haven't been a problem for me to date. My disclaimer is that I haven't installed a lot of programs so far. But, MS Office runs great, and I can go on the internet easily with IE or Opera browsers. The only bug that I've found is reported on Microsoft's forum which is that a flag stays on in the system tray indicating that the security features are not running; in fact, they are running based on Norton's information. However, this flag just won't go away. Hopefully, one of the updates will deal with it.
Overall, this is a great computer that runs really well and very fast. If you are willing to take the leap to use Windows 8 and want a touchscreen all-in-one, then this ASUS is a great and affordable choice.

This all in one pc was delivered on the promised day with a wet section on the top of the box(thanks UPS for your careful handling) The pc itself is a great design with a stunning display and a decent sound system that you can actually enjoy listening to music on however there are problems with this computer. The first problem was the cheaply made wireless mouse that wouldn't let you reinstall the battery cover without carefully making adjustment to the latching tabs on the cover. Shortly after that problem the wireless keyboard stopped working and since I had gotten rid of a bunch of the typical junk that comes with a new pc I did a system restore which solved the problem but left me with a permanent dialogue box saying that the Asus energy intelligent images can't be loaded. All I can do with this box is move it to one corner of the screen; I can't even uninstall the program. Today is Saturday and I emailed Asus support on Wednesday and I have yet to get a response. This pc would probably be a good choice for a user with a high level of Computer skills who could deal more easily with such issues but between the funky Windows 8 system and the embedded junk from Asus there are probably better choices out there.

Debated between the new iMac and the ASUS ET2220; decided that Microsoft is headed in the right direction with windows 8 PCs and phones (albeit they have a long ways to go in order to create an interface that rivals Apple). With the ET2220, immediately noticed that the computer is very quick (although loading Symantec Virus Protection noticeably slowed it down). Also, immediately noticed that the keyboard and mouse have a cheap, plastic feel to them. I appreciate that the keyboard was designed to be small and unobtrusive, but Asus should have invested more in these important components. The touch screen works well and the screen is attractive and visible from sharp angles; screen surface is reflective, so glare can be an issue. Can hardly hear the computer unless you listen behind the computer where the fan outlet is located. Sound is fine, but if you want to listen to music, you'll need to connect to external speakers. While it may not be as attractive as the iMac, the ET2220 is thin and better looking than some of the other options (e.g., HP and Dell).
