Perfect for work or play, the black Acer 320GB 11.6" Aspire One AO725-0845 Netbook is perfect for students and mobile professionals. It's equipped with tools for work, multiple interface options, plenty of storage room for media and quality graphics. The Aspire One is able to multitask efficiently, thanks to its AMD C-70 1GHz dual-core accelerated processor with TurboCore technology that supports burst processing speeds up to 1.33GHz. Plus, the integrated 4GB DDR3 SDRAM memory also supports smooth multitasking. For storing all your media and files, the netbook features a 320GB Serial ATA 5400 rpm hard drive. And, with a multi-in-1 memory card reader, you'll be able to expand your storage capacities using SD, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro and xD-Picture cards, and also import content from digital cameras, camcorders, and so on.
The Aspire One features a high-definition 11.6" CineCrystal Active Matrix TFT Color LCD with LED backlighting, widescreen 1366 x 768 resolution and AMD Radeon HD 6290 graphics. For network connectivity, you can choose wired 10/100 Fast Ethernet or 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. The Aspire One is also equipped with several ports and interfaces including an HDMI output and a USB 3.0 port. It features dual USB 2.0 ports and a VGA port as well.
For audio, the Aspire One is outfitted with high-definition audio support, as well as built-in stereo speakers, an integrated microphone, a headphone jack and a microphone jack. This netbook also features a full-size Acer FineTip keyboard and a useful multi-gesture touchpad, which acts like an enhanced mouse that supports multiple finger gestures - all of which make navigating the Windows 8 OS and the Internet faster and more intuitive. Other features include a webcam and a 4-cell lithium-ion rechargeable battery that has a maximum run-time of 5.5 hours - making the Aspire One ideal for work, play and travel.

I use this netbook for Internet purposes. It seems to load websites fairly well. The windows 8 is something I initially was a little worried about but turned out to be pleasant to use. The screen size is perfect. I have difficulty watching Netflix at times due to constant buffering of the videos. One last complaint would be the sound quality. It sounds okay when listening to music but very low when watching movies on Netflix and other apps like Netflix. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and I would recommend this netbook to anyone who wants a light, Internet- Ready laptop, with windows 8.

2. Arrived without a scratch, worked out of the box.
3. Windows 8 bloated with garbage software. Re-installed + Fedora 18. All works without much hassle with OS-bundled drivers.
4. Battery holds for ~4 hours in browsing, Word processing.
5. Get and SSD if you can! Got boot up times of ~5 seconds, Windows and Linux, on Kingson V300 120Gb.
