Comments about Blackmagic Design DeckLink 4K Extreme Capture & Playback Card:

I purchased this card to capture HDMI video out of an aircraft Synthetic Vision System. It worked perfectly. The captured video will be displaced at a trade show on a 16x9 20 foot screen. Although our equipment color space is RGB and the card captures in YUV color space, the quality is fantastic. We are known for the highest quality aircraft instrument displays in the industry and high end capture is important.

I had to wait on hold for about 10 to talk with tech support during setup. It was worth the wait. They told me what I was doing wrong and I was soon up and running. They even sent me a follow up email with a support ticket number and to confirm satisfaction.

I recommend the DeckLink 4K Extreme.

Comments about Blackmagic Design DeckLink 4K Extreme Capture & Playback Card:

Our previous CG was a DEKO 1000 and we have been using it for the better part of 15yrs. When I choosed the DeckLink extreme 4, little did I know that my students will not be needing any coaching from me as I used to do. After I installed the decklink4, I came to class the next morning and to my surprise there was on the monitor things that I have never seen before....The students had gone ahead and developed there own logos, templates and everything they needed to do. IT just made life easier.....The coolest thing about this is the speed and templates its like magic!!!
