I bought this for my wife for christmas. She absolutely loves it. This is replacing her old ipod classic... which still works, but it's about time for an upgrade. So far, no problems at all and practically everyday I hear about something new it can do.

Comments about Apple 64GB iPod touch (Black & Slate) (5th Generation):
Had mine now for almost 2 weeks and have to say it is Much, Much Better than the 4th Gen. The Clarity of the screen is most noticeable. Even SIRI can understand My Central VA Blue Ridge Mountain inbreeded accent. Now if only the aftermarket folks would produce some protective covers I would be Happy

Comments about Apple 64GB iPod touch (Black & Slate) (5th Generation):
I've had an iPod touch (3rd Gen) for a few years, but I wanted a new version with the camera, etc. After a few days, I thought: Really...I spent this much for this? Well, I've changed my mind. I LOVE the Retina display. Makes my videos look awesome! My music sounds better; because of the new processor? Google app works great with voice requests. Siri does OK. Haven't used Maps much. The whole thing responds faster because of the new processor. The camera is handy, but it won't replace my Canon digicam. Grainy pics. Haven't tried FaceTime. I miss the YouTube app I had. Google's isn't as good...yet.
