The mica/green Passport Sling II Bag from Lowepro is a multi-functional way to carry your photo gear and/or personals. This compact sling can hold your DSLR with attached zoom, one extra lens or flash along with a water bottle and some personal items such as passport, sunglass, ID and tickets. If you use a smaller CSC (compact system camera), it will accommodate the camera with attached zoom, two extra lenses or one lens, one flash plus the same personal items.

The sling is unique with its removable, red customizable insert that includes configurable dividers to arrange whatever gear you choose to carry. Use the dividers to separate your gear from your personals. Or, if you remove the insert entirely, you have a shoulder sling for clothes and personals to be used as a get-away bag. The Passport also makes a good second bag for a vacation since you can remove the insert completely, fold up the sling and place it within your larger luggage and use it when you arrive at your destination.

The sling features an expansion system whereby you can unzip the front and increase your storage space by 30% with the insert inside. Removing the insert entirely gives you 50% more space for clothing, phone, keys and other needed items for your adventure. Full access to the contents is via a full length zipper that runs along the top of the sling.

The Passport Sling II is made from 600D polyester and features a moisture-resistant non-slip exterior. The interior is a 210D nylon, brushed tricot combination. The exterior shell is 100% polyester and the lining is 99% nylon with 1% polyester. At only 1.1 lb, you'll hardly know you're carrying anything. Carry the Passport Sling II by its cam buckled shoulder strap that contains a removable shoulder pad. The Passport Sling II is backed by a limited lifetime warranty from Lowepro.

Discreet sling bag design offers a versatile way to carry camera and personal gear without looking like a typical photo bag
Customizable and removable camera box provides a custom fit and protection for a DSLR or CSC (compact camera system) kit; remove box to use the sling without camera gear-it collapses flat to fit in a larger bag for packing
Expandable compartment allows you to unzip and increase interior storage space by 30%
Water bottle pocket provides a convenient spot to keep hydration at hand
Bright, contrasting lining provides visibility when working in lower light
Adjustable shoulder strap with cam lock buckle offers a comfortable way to wear sling over shoulder or across body in a high or low position
Detachable shoulder pad offers extra comfort no matter where placed along shoulder strap; when removed, it provides a more streamlined look

I purchased this bag to hold my camera, wallet, ect on a recent trip to New York City. I wanted a durable, yet versatile bag to hold my new Nikon and this delivered!! I was able to carry everything I needed for a day around the city... including my camera, extra lens, wallet, travel size first aid kit, map, bottled water, a few snack bars, scarf, gloves, ect. I carried it across my body and I liked how easily and quickly I was able to access my camera. I didn't have to stop to take it out or put it back in after use. It poured down rain on my second day in the city and my umbrella was virtually useless. I couldn't get a cab and was soaked after a couple blocks. (After getting drenched, I figured "what the heck" and decided to walk to rest of the way. LOL) I was pleased when I returned to my hotel, 14 blocks later, to find everything inside the bag completely dry! I carried it every day of my trip and had no need for any other bag. I look forward to using it daily and on other trips as well. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase! There are only two things I would change - hence the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5: 1) To have at least one side of the outside pockets longer. It would have been nice to have been able to slide my long tickets/map/programs for quicker access on the outside. 2) A different shoulder strap that snaps in place or doesn't move. The padded strap kept sliding and was difficult to keep in place on my shoulder when moving through crowds. Not a major issue... it just made it uncomfortable when the strap would rub against my neck without the padding.

I bought the Passport II to house my new camera after my original Passport I bag was stolen with the camera inside. There was no question of what case to get the second time around--I loved the original Passport bag so much! Just enough room for camera and other accessories without being overbearing. I decided to go with the Mica, which meant a Passport II instead of Passport I. The color is great, but unfortunately there have been some modifications inside since the Passport I. The space for the camera and lens now has a lot of velcro with one divider. I tried moving the divider around, but have no clue what half of the velcro strips would be useful for! Additionally, I am concerned about scratches on the camera from the velcro not in use. Generally the enclosures and pockets feel cheaper than my original as well. I should have stuck with the Passport I...

Comments about Lowepro Passport Sling II Bag (Mica/Green):

I bought this bag to carry a micro four-thirds camera with zoom lens, with a smaller second camera. This does the job nicely, and is comfortable to wear over the shoulder, without getting in the way of walking or hiking. And it doesn't look geeky. It would be nice if some of the outside pockets had velcro or some kind of closures, so you could be sure stuff wouldn't fall out of them. And it would be nice if there was a way to add a third padded compartment on the inside. It won't carry 50 pounds of gear, but then neither do I want to do that, and for going light, with only a few accessories, this is a great bag.

I am a birth photographer and need a bag to keep on my body for C-Sections. This is light, sits against my body comfortably, and holds all my gear. I can actually fit two camera bodies with lenses attached, two additional lenses, my speedlite, batteries, and more.

I do wish it came with more padded dividers. I inserted some from another camera bag. I also wish one of the exterior pockets had a flap or zipper.

Comments about Lowepro Passport Sling II Bag (Mica/Green):

I love this bag! It gives me enough room to carry around my stuff for class with enough room left for my camera but without just throwing it in there. I love that the camera and gear get their own space in the bag. This way I can always carry my camera with me without having to carry around a bulky camera bag. I would definitely recommend it.

Comments about Lowepro Passport Sling II Bag (Mica/Green):

I use this bag for day hikes, when I'm being a tourist or on my bicycle. Has plenty of room for what I need for these activities, water bottle, snacks, extra piece of clothing and my camera stuff. I carry a Sony nex 5R with usually 4 lens. Lots of room for everything and quite comfortable to carry. My only complaint is the camera gear insert. It's a bit lame but good enough considering the price of the bag. I would definitely buy this bag again.

The bag is light weight and durable. Not a lot of room for extras. Great for a day of street...but lacking a place for a tripod. Otherwise, it's a well constructed bag for a day out (without a tripod). Worth the money.

Comments about Lowepro Passport Sling II Bag (Mica/Green):

I'm using this bag on a daily basis in NYC. Love the fact that it doesn't looks like a camera bag (I have the green version). It is really comfortable and quite wide.
My daily gears inside the bags are Canon 6D, 24-105mm, 85mm, Speedlight 430EX and Fuji X100.
With my current config, only the Canon 6d with the 24-105mm can fit in the dividers. I add to tune it quite a bit to avoid any internal shocks. Once set up correctly, it is just perfect for my daily use.

In a nutshell, it is my go to bag and wouldn't buy another one.

Comments about Lowepro Passport Sling II Bag (Mica/Green):

Finding a camera bag that doesn't hurt my shoulders and back is not an easy task. There's always a balance to find between space, weight, and size. I find this bag to be the best I've used.

In the past, I've used a camera backpack as well as typical boxy style cases. I much prefer this sling bag for a number of reasons. It's large enough to carry what I need but small enough to not be bulky. It hugs my body and is easy to slide to the front and grab what I need from the bag.

The wide strap with the padded shoulder pad is very comfortable for extended periods of time. The wide strap is one of my favorite features.

I love that the bag is expandable. The customizable camera box is very handy and I have room for my camera and two lenses. The outside pockets are great for my personal items so no other bag is required on my camera shoots.

The zippers glide easily and the stitching is heavy duty. I think this bag will last me for years.

Last, but not least, I really like the color - both inside and out.

Comments about Lowepro Passport Sling II Bag (Mica/Green):

....that doesn't look like a camera bag. Been looking to replace my usual bulky bag for a while and this one was just right. Easily fit my 5D Mark III with 50mm lens attached, 24-105mm lens, Speedliite 430EXII, batteries, strap and still had room for more, including non camera stuff, like water bottle, sunglasses, etc. Very comfortable and the best part, it doesn't attract a whole lot of attention as a camera bag.

I'm soooo happy with this bag! It fits my mark ii just fine and three lenses. It's easy to carry and it's expandable! Really good and low profile. No way you can tell it's a camera bag! Great!!

Just back from an African pic safari. Easily accommodated my camera, extra lens and some accessories. 2 interior Velcro pockets hold discs, extra batteries, lens cleaner, etc. 3 Exterior pockets hold water bottle, small binoculars, keys and the like. I really like the expand-ability of the long side of the bag. With it expanded we could easily add a couple of light jackets as well. Will also work well with with my Canon G15 and underwater housing when on dive trips. The shoulder strap makes if comfortable and easy to carry.

I brought this bag for a 9 day trip to London. The expansion component was so good this became my carry-on. The bag is light weight and quite comfortable. It does not look like a camera bag. Easy to get to the camera and to my lenses, I also carried glasses and transit cards in the side pocket, a water bottle during the day. On the trip over, I packed an I-Pad and a small sweatshirt in the bag also.

I can comfortably carry my camera, binoculars, a water bottle, and a few extras while hiking. The strap padding does not stay in place but the strap is still comfortable enough.
