The blue QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones from Bose feature proprietary ear cushion technology that creates a critical acoustical seal to dampen ambient sound. Microphones inside and outside each earcup reduce noise further by detecting and phase-eliminating any sound that differs from what you're listening to. These advanced electronics are able to provide full-spectrum noise reduction, creating the quietest Bose headphones yet.
The QC15 headphones feature proprietary signal processing and a TriPort acoustic structure to create a lifelike listening experience. If you want all the quiet without the music, the Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology can function on its own. Find some peace of mind within the QC15's small, lightweight earcups.
The QC15 headphones include two interchangeable audio cables; one with an iOS mic/remote and an additional plain audio cable.

3 years ago I saw this headphones but due to the hefty price I decided not to buy. I was looking for a good headphone with nice high and mids with decent Bass and was inclined to buying the beats executive and the Diesel by monster. After seeing this headphones again in a new color ( Blue ) I again was attracted of hearing how the sound goes, I really like how the noise cancellation works. I'd highly recommend this for those who are willing to spend money.

Comments about Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones (Blue):
I purchased these after a lot of research into Noise Cancelling Headphones and reading a lot of reviews.
After using these in the office and at home (I have yet to use them on a flight) I can say they sound great and the noise cancelling was far better than I expected. They are very comfortable to wear.
As some have mentioned it is an inconvenience not being able to use them without a battery, but in reality this has very little impact as a) batteries are cheap, small and easy to carry and b) they last for ~35 hours.

The headphones have completely changed my morning commute on the subway. It's so nice to hear music and block all that noise. It has taken me a while to get used to the in-ear pressure, which is constant. I don't feel it as much anymore, but it is still there. I think it's worth the excellent noise-cancelling, though.

Its sound is great, have good noise canceling but I expected it to be higher. The design is nice, however, carry cage is very large and impractical to carry on a trip. I'm happy with my Bose.

Comments about Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones (Blue):
I travel a decent amount and also enjoy silence to concentrate when I'm studying at home or work.
I was lucky enough to be on the market for a set of Noise Cancelling headphones when the Limited edition Blue version came onto the market. It's a nice change from the standard silver model. The carry case also seems to be a bit sturdier... bonus! Mechanically, they're the same however- which is fine!
These headphones, dare I say are a must have for frequent travellers. With Active Noise Cancelling on, engine and other ambient noise subsides dramatically. With an Audio source such as music on, you'll be hard pressed to hear voices (or crying babies). One word of warning- you may miss the in flight food service with these headphones on.
I initially ummed at the cost but when you're travelling, you can't but a dollar figure on a decent sleep or even just a quieter environment.
I'm also a bit of an audiophile. I love quality sounding music with solid detail and a great sound stage..
The detail on the QC15's is decent but not on par with a set of high end Sennheiser, Grado or other Audiophile headphones. Sound stage on these headphones is quite good. The detail is decent but the bass is a bit on the sloppy side- no real issue there though. Mid's to highs are probably the Bose's forte but it's clear to see where the bulk of their money is invested. In Active Noise cancelling and comfort.
Build quality is decent and the carry case it solid (one of the best I've had).
My past Noise cancelling headphones have ranged from TDK NC 150's, Philips SHN9500's, Sony NC60's and now the Bose QC15's. The Bose are definitely the pick. They're actually the only set of Noise Cancelling headphones you'll ever need to buy. It would be nice if they were rechargeable but that's not a big deal. one four pack of triple A batteries will give you 150 hours of listening...or just by a small battery charger.

Comments about Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones (Blue):
Having read many reviews beforehand, I was expecting a superior noise-cancelling product with middling sound quality. I was pleasantly surprised, upon receiving them, to see that sound quality is also excellent, particularly in the bass register. They are very comfortable and can be worn for long periods. The down side: aesthetically, these headphones are strictly for travel inside the anonymity of a plane. They are very large (as you'd expect for around-ear phones) and are not the most modest-looking phones on the market. To be honest, I think this is an extravagant item for most purchasers, especially for what is ultimately a disposable product with a limited lifespan. Having said that, if you are a frequent traveller, I think that this is a product that is well worth the investment, and may help you get either a few hours precious sleep, or a few hours of quality audio listening, while you are in the air.

Comfortable fit over ears.Really cut out the loud noise on flights but still allowed me to talk with colleagues quite comfortably.I do not like loud music or sound and the noise reduction allowed me to comfortably listen to my music in a loud aeroplane but a remarkably low volume.Quite large and dont hang around the neck particularly comfortably; but the size definitely brings its advantages in comfort and sound.A bit soft on bass.

Comments about Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones (Blue):
High build quality, premium sound quality, very effective at cancelling background noises. Only one negative: once you turn off the noise cancelling function you can't continue to listen to music on your iPod/iPhone/iPad etc. Not good if the AAA battery runs flat when travelling.
