The gray Montgomery Street Backpack from Acme Made is a lightweight (2.0 lb), viable alternative to more expensive traditional backpacks. Its unique design provides rapid access to your gear leaving you ready to shoot at a moment's notice. Its capacity is rated to hold your CSC (compact system camera) with two extra lenses or a DSLR with one lens. There's also room for your 13" MacBook or Ultrabook in a separate compartment. Two top zippers provide instant access to the laptop compartment or the main storage area. Your photo gear is held within movable dividers to provide you with a comfortable and functional way to store and use your equipment.

The most interesting facet of the Montgomery Backpack is its FlexFold system that allows you to expand or contract the interior to suit your style. Use the top internal soft quilted touch fastened flap to cover your gear or use it to compress the dividers together against one side to increase the overall interior footprint. An additional benefit of this backpack is the zippered side access panel that gives you rapid access to your gear without having to remove the entire pack to retrieve a piece of equipment. You can easily swing the pack over to one shoulder sling style, unzip the side, grab your camera/lens combo, get the shot, zip up the gear inside and move on in backpack style form.

The touch fastened front flap has an accessory pocket underneath with slash pockets for your iPhone, passport, ticket and other small items. The flap itself has a zippered pocket on its underside for even more small accessories. There's even a key ring to make instant entry to your home easier.

The pack is carried by two comfortable backpack straps or a top grab handle for quick access times such as removing the pack from your car or closet. The Montgomery Street Backpack is made with a nylon exterior and cotton blend interior and warranted against manufacturer's defects by Acme Made.

Comments about Montgomery Street Backpack (Gray):

This is a great bag, purchased this for my wife's camera. Its cute and comfortable. The one down side to it is the size of the opening for the camera to come out. I love the bag and how it holds everything snug, we knew it was a smaller bag but my wife was willing to give up on space to have a cuter overall bag. She is able to get a Nikon D600, with Sigma 50mm lens attached and still have room for her Nikon 24-70 2.8 lens as well as her 13 inch Mac Book and still has enough room for a small wind breaker or snaks ect. We only give it 4 stars because of the opening for the actual camera to pass through when putting it away or taking it out is to small and doesn't open wide enough. Keep in mind this is with a Nikon D600 so it is a fairly large body camera but nothing to large. Should come out easier than it does. I guess its a good thing if you are on vacation there is no way even the best pick pocket thief will get this camera out without you knowing it while you are wearing the back. With that said I would still buy it again and my wife still loves it.

Comments about Montgomery Street Backpack (Gray):

Camera bags are normally so ugly - this one is certainly the most stylish one I've found. There are separate sections for your equipment, which can be folded away to create one big space if you want to use the bag for gym stuff or just everyday life.

Comments about Montgomery Street Backpack (Olive Green):

This bag is great. I bought it mostly for it's looks. Quite frankly it doesn't really look like a camera bag, and that's what I wanted. Don't let it's looks fool you, this bag is super functional and the easy access side camera compartment is a must.

The only thing I think they could have possibly done differently is thicker straps.

Comments about Montgomery Street Backpack (Olive Green):

This backpack is perfect in terms of the square look and aesthetic. Can't avoid people complementing on it. But it would be so much better if the side camera compartment is a little bigger so that it'll fit a battery grip together with the body. Overall, nicely built compact backpack!

Comments about Montgomery Street Backpack (Gray):

I got the Acme backpack for a carry-on bag. It hauls my MacBook, my DSLR, and various/sundry stuff I want when I travel. It isn't quite large enough to put a jacket in if you have any other stuff in it. It is cleverly designed, has plenty of pockets, AND you can put it on your back to free up your hands while moving thru airports, etc. It is a little pricey but is well made and fits the bill for me.
