This version have changed quite a bit in it's appearance. If you're using MS Office 2013 you're in luck as it seems to have a colaberatively similar GUI so it will look and feel the same. This cross application GUI standardization arrives not a moment too soon. Still the annoying "Create" word proceeding the actual modual names when minimized so it's difficult to determine what's what is your running several modules simultaneously.

I use Quickbooks for payroll and accounting for a very small company. It works well for that and has been very reliable across the various versions I've used. The tax updates for payroll are timely and install easily. The program has many more features than I need, but they don't get in the way. Cost of payroll updates has always been higher than I thought was fair.

I made a bundle purchase with a Mini Mac, and wanted the Mac compatible QB Pro software. When it did not install I noticed it was a Windows only product. It would have been nice if someone makes a computer purchase and software purchase at the same time that a confirmation dialog box would pop-up to confirm.
