The E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera from Olympus is a compact mirrorless interchangeable lens camera that comes with the FL-LM1 flash unit.
A 16MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic VI Image Processor provide high resolution photo and video and fast performance. The TruePic VI Image Processor features Real Color Technology for accurate color reproduction and improved gradation. The F.A.S.T. Autofocus technology with 35 separate focus points brings with it accurate and swift focus across the entire sensor and 8 frames per second of continuous shooting is there to capture those fast-action sequences.
ISO sensitivity that ranges up to 25600 offers flexibility when shooting in low light and In-body Image Stabilization reduces the effects of camera movement when shooting in low light or with long telephoto lenses. The In-body Image Stabilization also works on video and the E-PM2 captures video in Full 1080i HD and the Direct HD Movie Button switches you from still to movie mode with just one touch of the button.
The 3.0" LCD offers touch control of autofocus points and shutter release and the responsive Vertical Bar Touch Navigation system for intuitive settings control. The Live Guide system allows you to preview the camera's effects as you adjust them. Just push the Direct Live Guide Button to see how your photo will look before you take it.
iAuto and 23 Scene Select Modes are available for easy auto shooting. iAuto identifies the type of scene you are shooting and adjusts the settings to optimize image results, and Scene Select mode allows you to set the camera to the type of shot you will be taking whether it be Fireworks, Sunset, Children or even 3D. Face Detection with Eye Detect adjusts focus automatically onto the subject's eyes for beautiful portraits. Also available are 12 in-camera Art Filters which allow you to adjust your images with effects like Pop Art, Soft Focus and Grainy Film. These can be applied to HD videos as well.
For ease of handling and ergonomic control, the E-PM2 has a built-in rubberized grip. And the Olympus Dust Reduction System shakes off dust from the sensor every time the camera is turned on.

This is an amazing little camera . It outperforms my dated Nikon D300 in quite a few ways . I like to shoot amateur ice hockey...indoors...and this thing rocks with the 75 mm 1.8 attached...I am shooting ISO 3200 and getting great images little noise and great detail...I love viewfinders...this does not come with one but what it does have is touch focus...it is amazing...so in my opinion the touch focus is an advantage over a viewfinder in getting the camera to focus where you want...especially if you are shooting action sports...and yes if you set up the super control panel this camera is very easy to operate...the image quality is fantastic as well...if you get this camera and can't figure out how to set up the Super Control panel...go onto youtube...there is a video there showing how to set it up...

Comments about E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera Body (Black):
Loved it. Very small and portable. I decided to go with an NEX 5 that I inherited from my brother, but if not, I would have kept the olympus. In some ways easier to use than the NEX. Though it has a smaller sensor than the NEX, in some ways it is better because the body has image stabilization. Great when attaching old lenses.

Comments about E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera Body (Black):
The E-PM2 is a small lightweight camera that, when paired with a Lumix F1.7 20mm lens,is capable of producing sharp, good quality photos. My quality judgment is based on viewing the photos on an Ipad 2. I should add that I also own an E-PM1 and when I do a comparison of the two cameras, with similar lense, etc., I can't tell the difference betwen the output of the two.

Comments about E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera Body (Black):
I would give it 5 stars for what it is, a very advanced point and shoot. Having said that, I have used it for two paid gigs since I bought it and have been very impressed. Image quality is fantastic and with the SCP activated it is really pretty easy to use. Focus is very fast and accurate. It handles well but it is pretty small. I have the EPM1 also and the new grip on the EPM2 is welcome. Battery life seems better, and a viewfinder would be nice but you can't have everything in this size. I do have the VF-2 that I like very much also. Highly recommended!

Comments about E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera Body (Black):
I purchased this as a second camera to my OMD because it shares the same sensor and processor. That means it also shares the great photo quality of the OMD. A couple of things are missing however, like a viewfinder and buttons to change settings but it does come with a clip on flash which is good if you remember to bring it along in your pocket and a not too complicated menu if you are familiar with Olympus type things. I really like the small size and if you put the 15mm f8 body cap lens on it you can easily slip it into many pockets. It does not share the same stabilizing system as the OMD but is equal to those used in all other Olympus cameras. All in all its a great little camera and I would recommend it highly.

Comments about E-PM2 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera Body (Black):
Great camera in such a small body. Image quality is great, such a drastic improvement since last year's model...I have usable pictures up to 6400 iso. Another new change is the grip..much better than last year's model. AF-S is insanely quick especially in day light or under bright conditions, locks focus almost instantly - a bit faster than the previous model. Wish the continuous autofocus would keep up with tracking better though.
