Comments about Think Tank Photo Airport Navigator Rolling Bag (Black):

Perfect for small events. I take a lot of weddings and family events. Was looking for something that would hold two bodies with lens attached. This fits the bill. Can hold Nikon D4s and D810 with 70-200 and 24-70 attached. Along with 2 flashes(SB910 & SB800),85mm lens, 3 Pocket Wizard flex TT5 and extra batt for cameras and flash. Carried charges and other such hardware in addition small bag that fit on top of ThinkTank. Top opening was a requirement for quick access. Didn't want to have to lay down bag and expose equipment during ceremony. Out stretched handle is a little loose, but flatten oval shape sturdy enough for use up and down stairs. Opens and closes very easily. Only issue is dimensions are too large for carry on luggage. Knew this when I bought it and since most jobs are local decided to purchase. However, would be very nice to have the option.

Comments about Think Tank Photo Airport Navigator Rolling Bag (Black):

When I first received this case, it looked very small inside and I didn't think it would hold everything I would want to take on a trip. But once I sorted out what I would actually carry and rearranged the compartments, everything fit. (My largest lens is a 100-400 Canon lens.)I love being able to access my camera from the top. Structurally, Think Tank makes an excellent product. This is no different. Great zippers, nice material, secure handle. I gave it 4 stars for one reason - to access the rest of your gear, you unzip the front compartment and the door only releases part way. It would be nice if you had an option to open it all the way if you needed to.

I used the Airport Navigator on a recent trip. Packed with a D4 and a 24 to 70 lens attached, a 70 to 200, 14 to 24 and 50 mm lenses. Along with my 15in. macBook Pro and portable hard drive. It fit well in the overhead compartment.

It would be perfect if it had four wheel spinners, the reason for 4 stars.

Overall a great bag, goods looks and functional.

Comments about Think Tank Photo Airport Navigator Rolling Bag (Black):

Like all Think Tank products, this thing is built to last. I was searching for a bag that works well for air travel for smaller shoots that I do; portraits, commercial/editorial work, and light architectural assignments. I'm easily able to fit the following into this bag with room to spare:-(2) Canon 5D mk ii bodies (I don't use the battery grips, but they would easily fit)-Canon 16-35mm ƒ2.8-Canon 35mm ƒ1.4-Canon 135mm ƒ2-Canon 85mm ƒ1.2-(2) Canon 580 EX ii speedlights-Small pouch containing two extra batteries and a Canon charger-Pixel Pocket Rocket filled with memory cards-11" MacBook Air and iPad (13" Air would definitely fit; not sure about other computers, but likely they'd be fine)-Waterfield cable pouch containing computer charger, iPhone/iPad charger, two small Seagate hard drives, card reader, and other small essentials.-Travel tripod does fit in the very stretchy side pocket, but I choose to put that in my checked luggage when flying in case it's labeled as a weapon (oh, TSA.) Instead I chose to unhook one of the clips for the shoulder strap and tuck it away in this pocket for when I might want to use it, keeping it from getting underfoot accidentally while rolling.-Folding resuable shopping bag fits nicely in the top pocket in case of suddenly needing to yank delicate parts if I have to check my roller, which has happened with my ThinkTank International on very small commuter jets.-Water bottle (empty for security, of course) fits perfectly in other side pocket. There is SO much more space in this bag than I thought there would be. I love the top loading, I love the way the laptop gear is easily accessed, and I love the extremely convenient way the piggy-back should strap works with my checkable roller. Though it's not a glider the low center of gravity makes this bag feel incredibly light, and for the first time flying for one of my commercial shoots I didn't feel achy and exhausted by the time I got to my rental car.The other reason I wanted this bag was for an easily accessible car-bag for road trips and other vehicle travel; being able to holster two different cameras for quick access is incredible! We're headed to Iceland this winter and planning on driving everywhere, so this will be indispensable. I wish I'd had it for our cross-America road trip last March, it would have been ideal for the amount of jumping in and out of the car we did on a short time frame. So far I've had no issues with size in the overhead bins. It fits with room to spare in Frontier's overhead bins (standard size jet with 3 and 3 seats and one aisle), but that is the only flight I've attempted so far. I doubt it would fit under most seats based on the height of the thing, and for this reason alone I do wish that Think Tank made a more compact version of this, perhaps for a slightly smaller kit that's more personal-bag sized.I've read complaints about the lack of small-stuff storage in this bag (there's really only the two small zippers inside the lid, which can't hold much without risking damage to either the camera backs or the contents; I don't personally mind this, as I'm used to using small pouches from various companies, which actually helps me stay organized. The only thing I wish was slightly different was the larger, sturdy pieces are a little hard to maneuver for chunky lenses with hoods like the 85mm ƒ1.2. This is an extremely weirdly shaped hunk of glass though (also purchased from B&H, incidentally), and I love it enough to make this bag function even if it's not the perfect fit for it. :-)Overall I'm VERY happy. I ended up purchasing through B&H because of their free expedited shipping; ordinarily I would purchase through ThinkTank directly, but I needed the bag immediately and this saved a chunk of money on expedited shipping fees. Thank you B&H! Wonderful shopping experience, as usual for the past 12 years.

Comments about Think Tank Photo Airport Navigator Rolling Bag (Black):

It's well designed and it should've been made long ago. This bag is a back saver. It's great to work out of, and the same can't be said for any other rolling bag I know of.The flap on the top is genius. Depending how you organize it, the top flap can probably give you access to the gear you use most often. The side flap is best used when laying the bag down, but you don't have to. I'm surprised how well stuff stays in there. Recently I had a shoot which required a shoulder bag. Oh my. I'm in decent shape and could feel the extra strain on my shoulders/back. I've been spoiled by this bag.To state the obvious, this bag works best when you're on pavement and when the terrain isn't too rough. It works on smooth-ish grass. It's not a good off-roading bag. This bag is awesome for rolling around the airport. If you fly a lot with gear, you know how painful a shoulder bag or backpack can be shuffling around gates. I wish this bag was just a bit smaller. I realized after I bought the bag that it doesn't fit into most international airline requirements. It also doesn't fit beneath the seat on some decent sized planes (some 737ish sized planes). Recently I had to gate check the bag due to it not fitting under seat. After a minor freak out, they let me take my cameras/lens out and put them in trash bags. That's just not what I want to deal with when flying for a gig. If you can get early boarding, I'm sure this bag can fit most overheads. If this bag were A LITTLE smaller, it would be perfect.

I used the Airport Navigator last weekend for a wedding and I've also used it for an engagement shoot. I also use an Undfind shoulder bag when shooting weddings. The Navigator replaced my Airport International V2. I couldn't be happier with the Navigator--great bag for weddings. I allows much faster and easier access to my second camera body and other essential gear which is what I wanted.

I was getting back pain and inflammation from carrying a backpack around. I had not choice but to purchase a rolling bag. At first, I was going to buy something less expensive but realized that I needed something that looked professional, had enough room for all my gear, and would last. I'm sold on Think Tank. Yes, they are expensive bags but I figured that it was the best way to take care of my body and my equipement. I love the compartments for laptop and tablet and paperwork. I wish there was more room for accessories and incidentals. THere's not much room for the extras which is why I gave it four stars. Overall, a great bag.

Comments about Think Tank Photo Airport Navigator Rolling Bag (Black):

Everything you'd expect from a Think Tank. Great build quality – packs A LOT in a tight package. As I'm a videographer and often need to bring a small sound kit with me, this bag was just a hair too small. The bigger problem for me was that the top loading camera bays were too wide for my Panasonic GH line cameras, which are smaller than standard SLRs. They did not feel properly secure. If you need more space, I replaced my Navigator with a Think Tank's Roller Derby & it's the best bag I've ever used.

I was surprised when I opened the box and noticed how heavy it was. I guess it's because of the sturdy build. Thank goodness it has wheels. I checked the specs and they disclose the right weight. I bought this to transport two SLRs, four lenses and support gear when I travel. It's just the right size and the innards offer infinite options for organization. For short trips I can even fit a change of skivvies and toiletries (in leak-proof containers, of course). What more could you want?

Love this new bag! I am a wedding/portrait photographer and needed something to take the load off carrying all my equipment on my back. This bag suits my needs perfectly. I can fit all my gear, easily take it everywhere and it's easy to get my gear in and out all day long. I love the top and side loading options, it really makes it convenient. I would totally recommend this bag, the only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because the strap for carrying other bags with it was missing from my delivery and now I have to figure out how to get it.

I have had a lot of camera bags in my life including Tamrac and Lowepro but Think Tank is the best quality ever. Not only does it hold all of my gear in a convenient and secure manner but it also l;ooks and functions great. I would not hesitate to buy their products again and they can count on me as a repeat customer.
