The black CityWalker 10 Messenger Bag from Think Tank is a soft, padded multi-functional bag that holds your DSLR with 24-70mm f/2.8 attached, extra lens, flash plus a dedicated iPad/tablet compartment. The bag contains a removable padded insert that, when removed, transforms the bag into one large storage space-messenger style. This double-edged approach to a camera bag gives you the freedom to carry camera gear and when the insert is removed, there is room for other items such as books or personals.

The bag is accessed by a double security front snap buckle or touch fasteners that feature Think Tank's Sound Silencers to minimize the noise that traditional touch fasteners generate when opened. This will come in handy when you are shooting in quiet venues such as a chess match or courtroom. The front zippered organizer pocket holds everything from cleaning cloth to pens, note pad, lens cap and other small items. The front pocket is expandable via an easy to use touch fastener.

The overall material is water-resistant and soft providing a body conforming design that makes navigating through crowds and subways much easier. A combination of nylon, polyester, polyurethane and YKK zippers provide strength to the bag. Movable closed-cell interior dividers allow you to configure the bag to suit your gear needs.

The CityWalker is carried by its cushioned, adjustable, non-slip shoulder strap or convenient top grab handle. The bag comes with a seam sealed rain cover that will protect the entire bag when the weather turns against you. Topping off this bag is a business card slot located under the front flap. This will make networking easier when you need to hand your card to someone while on the go. Think Tank backs the CityWalker with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects.

Comments about CityWalker 10 Messenger Bag (Blue Slate):

This is a perfect bag for any occasion! It's just the right size for my needs, carrying my Pentax DSLR and extra lens or 2 and other accessories, including a water bottle and iPad. The strap is incredibly comfortable. I love the fact that the inside compartment, for my photo equipment, can be removed so you can use the bag for other things. Quality material and product. Thanks ThinkTank.

I've owned 4-5 other camera bags before this, and this might be my favorite so far. It's very lightweight but feels durable. I can fit my Canon 5D MkII with 24-70 lens attached easily in the center, with enough room on either side of the camera for extra lenses or other accessories. This bag is only listed as having a tablet/iPad slot, but I can fit my 11" Macbook air in it with plenty of room to spare. The strap is pretty comfortable.

An excellent combination of capacity and lightweight. Easily holds D600, 18-15 kit lens and 70-300 telephoto with SB900 flash and batteries and other necessities. Would be perfect if the top flaps closed a little easier. They tend to fold out sometimes exposing the gear from the top. Otherwise it would have 5 stars.

Upgraded from a relatively cheap entry-level bag to this. I have a 5dmkIII with tamron 24-70mm attached, 100mm 2.8L macro, and 50mm 1.4. This bag fits all 3, plus has plenty of room for cards, remote trigger, etc. Padding is excellent and the bag is more comfortable to carry (strap is nicely padded) than my last one.

Searched for a shoulder bag for my Fuji XE-1 3 lens system for months. FInally settled on this bag. I find it to be the most comfortable bag I tried. I realize that this is a matter of taste. What works for me may not work for others but this works for me. HIghly recommended.

Comments about CityWalker 10 Messenger Bag (Blue Slate):

I wanted something just big enough for events and for occasional street work. This bag comfortably holds my Canon 5D with 24-105, EX 580 II, 70-200 2.8 is L II, along with a pack of flash gels, flat-pack modifier and even my iPad!

There are plenty of extra zipped compartments for business cards, notebook, pens, memory cards etc.

Like most Think Tank products this bag has been well thought-out and designed - I figure they actually talk to photographers about their requirements and work from there. I like the little touches such as the ability to tape off the velcro in the flap for quiet/silent use - a real must for some event work.

I've only been carrying it for a couple of weeks but I've covered a couple of day-long conferences with it and it held up really well. Its very well made and comfortable to carry. It comes with a fitted rain cover which will be very useful here in the north east USA.

Comments about CityWalker 10 Messenger Bag (Blue Slate):

I bought this bag for times I'm shooting but won't be walking around alot or for when I'm walking around alot but have light gear in the bag. When I'm hiking or walking for several hours I like to use a hip belt pack or backpack. Now back to the CityWalker 10 Messenger Bag: what a great bag! I love all of the pockets, the insert that can be taken out and the use of lightweight materials. I mainly keep my Rebel T4i in the bag and it's really easy to lug around for a long time. Recently I had my 5D Mark III in it with several fixed length lenses (200 f/2.8, 85 f/1.8, and 40mm pancake, plus Canon's 430 EX II flash). With my camera around my neck, this was a very easy carry. At this point I really don't have any complaints about the bag and highly recommend it.

Comments about CityWalker 10 Messenger Bag (Black):

This bag works great with the Panasonic GH-3 with lens attached with room for 3-4 lenses or a flash. You can fit a table top tripod no problem. You have access through the top of the bag.I would like to see the sound silencer tech that some manufactures use. I would like to see an all weather cover or sealed zippers like Tenba does on their shootout bags.
