The Samsung UN39EH5003 39" 1080p LED TV makes a solid entrance into the mid-level large size flat-panel screen TV arena. It features a high definition resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, two 10W integrated down-firing full range speakers and a dedicated game mode for the kids or the kid in you.
The refresh rate on an HDTV will determine how blur-free fast moving images are. Samsung TVs use another indicator - the Clear Motion Rate, a new technology developed by Samsung that is based on panel-processing advances made by their labs. A higher Clear Motion Rate is better, and this unit features a Clear Motion Rate of 120.
The UN39EH5003 39" 1080p LED TV features two integrated down-firing full range speakers for a combined total of 20W (two 10W speakers). The TV also includes SRS TheaterSound HD to deliver multi-channel sound.
Another technology that Samsung provides is their Wide Color Enhancer Plus. This allows sharper color processing and less saturation for greater clarity. Even with fast moving action scenes, the images remain natural in tone and clear in definition.
Besides the Wide Color Enhancer and ConnectShare Movie Technology (that enables a user to access camcorder videos and music libraries directly on a TV screen), other features include an Eco Sensor, Game Mode, Auto Channel Search, Auto Power Off, Auto Volume Leveler, Clock & On/Off Timer, Closed Captioning a built in DTV Tuner, Sleep Timer, and V-Chip (which allows parents to block inappropriate movies and programs based upon their FCC rating.)
The connectors for this unit include two HDMI inputs, and one each of Component, Composite and RF ports. It also includes a USB port for connecting hard drives or Flash drives so that you can watch your digital content on the big screen.

We've been looking to replace our very outdated tv for a few years now.
We settled on this tv after reading through Consumer Reports reviews and finding it fit into a pre-made hole in the wall for tv. It is the biggest tv that would fit into the space.
We finally decided to do it, but we didn't want to spend too much. B&H had the best prices, but I was skeptical: would it ship fast? Would it be damaged? Would it work?
Well. The answers were yes, no, yes. Very happy with the product and service.

I shopped around for a TV for quite awhile. I have only had this TV set up for about a week--but overall I LOVE it. It has plenty of volume and the size is just right for my office. The picture is excellent. It was very easy to set up and program. By the way, I don't think it needs any kind of separate speaker system.

I purchased this TV as a replacement for an old 27 inch tube TV. The first week of use I was underwhelmed because my cable set top box wasn't HD. Therefore the picture was dull and blurry. But today I connected a HD set top box with a HDMI cord. Wow, I feel as if I've left the stone ages and joined the world of modern technology. As other reviewers have stated, the sound is not too great and more HDMI inputs would be nice. My only complaint is trying to fine tune the picture (color, sharpness, etc). I'm still working on that. This complaint is personal and has nothing to do with the TV. I was accustomed to watching my other tv for over ten years, so this is an adjustment. In the future I plan to have the TV mounted on the wall. If I can update this review I will. I'm very happy with this TV and would definitely recommend it. The price and quality is great. B&H's order process is effortless and the shipping is super fast.

I am afflicted with macular degeneration. I told my optometrist that my 5 year old lcd samsung is too uncomfortable for my bad eye site. She recommended that I purchase a Samsung led.
