The red ContourROAM2 Action Camcorder from Contour is a compact and rugged hands-free action camera. It keeps things simple for capturing high-quality action video while the world is rushing past you at high speed. With a lockable Instant On-Record switch, all you have to do start recording is turn the camera on. Plus, its durable aluminum shell is impact-resistant and waterproof down to a depth of 3.3' (1 m). The ContourROAM2 has an ultra-lightweight 5.1 oz body and its array of available mounts make it the ideal choice for skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding, skydiving, motocross, kayaking, surfing, mountain biking and more.
The ContourROAM2 can capture Full HD 1080p, HD 960p and 720p video. It also supports 5-megapixel still image capture. Contour designed the camera with a wide-angle, 170° lens that actually rotates 270° in the body so that you can mount the camera at any angle, using either the standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount or the integrated TRail mount system that works with all of Contour's optional accessory mounts. There's also a high-precision laser level built right into the camera, which allows you to adjust the orientation of the lens and level out the horizon before you start recording.

with 32GB SD card - perfect gadget to take with you wherever you go and forget about any restrictions while filming :) I wont say much about video quality, judge it from youtube, but the build quality is awesome, very convenient to use, waterproof (tried ocean underwater in day 1 :)), easy to operate. front lens scratched already but that's what happens dropping it onto the rocks.

The ROAM2 comes in an attractive pack and includes: 1 profile mount; 1 rotating flat surface mount; lanyard tether; USB cable; lens cap; 4GB MicroSD card; storage pouch and lens cloth.It is a very sleek, well designed action camera. It does not stick out like a sore thumb (ala GoPro). Simple operation with a BIG record slider switch on top, you will never miss the moment no matter where you mount it. The picture quality is excellent both outdoors and indoors. I use it primarily for recording my motorcycle rides but it has inspired me to experiment more since it is so easy to use! The built-in laser and the rotating lens help you align and frame your shots. It also has a standard tripod socket so you don't need any extra mounts for that. I purchased an extra set of mounts but won't be needing them since it came with two mounts that as of now are enough for me. You need to download the Storyteller software from contour in order to configure the camera. Now this is the only part I don't like and hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Yes, it's me being picky. Every time you need to change some setting on the camera, you need to connect it to your computer, choose the settings, disconnect the camera, record, connect it again and decide if those settings are what you want. It gets irritating but then after spending time with the camera, I realized that it is not something I would do every now and then once I figured out what I like. Besides, they have much better configurability on the higher priced Contour2 and so I can't really complain. My only other gripe with the camera is that there is no external mic port and I need it a lot since I use this on a motorcycle and the wind ruins all the audio. Again, available on the higher priced Contour2. Overall, for the price, this is a brilliant product and I've this funny feeling I am going to be buying one more!

I love this cam despite initial issues. Highly recommended!
