The 86mm White Balance Cap with 77mm and 82mm Ring Adapters from Vivitar allows you to easily calibrate your camera for color. Simply place the white balance cap over the lens and scene-specific light, combined with reflected light, is evaluated for accurate white balance. The 86mm comes with two adapter rings to use on 77mm and 82mm lenses. It is easily portable, convenient and weather resistant. An attached cord allows the cap to hang from the lens.

        The white balance cap works perfectly. My only suggestion would be for it to have a snap fitting rather than a screw-on arrangement. It is a little odd having to unscrew the lens cap every time I use that lens, but it is worth it to have a handy way to calibrate the white balance with something that will always be there.
