Comments about vFree On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones (Silver):

I had reviewed this earlier and given it four stars. But that was too optimistic. Here is why.I had to return the first unit because it would not turn on even after full charge (as indicated by the charging light). The second unit that I received also had problems (the power on took several attempts) and it would drop bluetooth connection many times when I was at the gym, requiring complete power off and then reconnecting. So, it had to be returned too. I decided to replace with the same brand. After three days of use, this unit too would not turn on! Hard to believe, right? Or maybe not, once you notice the flimsy construction of the plastic panels which control power, fast forward etc. A great disappointment. It had excellent sound, great looks and the ear cups provided good isolation from ambient sounds. Plus, in my iPhone, it would show the charge level of the headphone. But seeing that I was unlucky three times with this, it is time to try some other make. The only positive in this ten week saga was this store (B&H) and its customer-friendly staff.

Comments about vFree On-Ear Bluetooth Headphones (Silver):

Excellent sound quality over bluetooth. Very attractive design. The charge lasts for 6-8 hours, maybe longer. I charge once a week and have not yet checked the the maximum duration possible. Easy to use and you shouldn't believe some comments you read about the buttons being difficult to distinguish by fingers. So, why less-than-perfect rating? Reliability maybe an issue.
The first unit I received stopped working after one day. Its first charge lasted for several hours but then, the next day,it would not turn on even after charging for six hours. Thanks to B&H excellent service, I returned it and got another one (white) a couple days later. I have used it for a couple of weeks in the gym and while running. Stays on without problems and on-the-ear design provides good insulation from ambient noise. Just one dropped connection so far. We will see how it performs after a couple of months.
