The lightweight and portable Delkin Devices WingmanHD Waterproof Action Camera lets you capture all your action sports adventures in Full HD 1080p clarity. Whether you prefer water sports, winter sports or street action sports - the WingmanHD affords a simple way to achieve high-quality close-up video and still imagery of your favorite action sports. The ultra-light, 3oz camera comes standard with two helmet mounts, stealth suction mount, bar mount and it also features a 1/4-20 mounting bracket for shooting smooth video and stills from a tripod (tripod sold separately). The camera also features a 3x digital zoom.
The included mounts offer users a way to capture that unique first person perspective, which reveals the excitement, risk and danger associated with action sports. You can take it anywhere you can go - even underwater down to a depth of 100'. For videographers concerned about the camera's quality, the WingmanHD features an 8-megapixel CMOS image sensor that's capable of capturing both Full HD video and still images. It can also capture 720p HD video at 60 fps for high-speed action. The WingmanHD has a 1.5" LCD monitor as well, which can be used for real-time shooting and instant playback. The camera also features a true action sports lens with 150° wide-angle view.
The WingmanHD Action Camera features a Universal Mounting System and it also comes with an 8GB microSD card to get you started recording right out-of-the-box. Plus, the camera comes with both an AC wall charger and a DC car charger. You can view footage at home on a large TV screen via HDMI connectivity or composite connection. The camera also has a USB port for fast data transfers and quick charging. You can even insert the microSD card directly into most computers as well.
- The camera comes equipped with an adhesive helmet mount, vented helmet mount, stealth suction mount, bar mount and a 1/4-20 tripod adapter. These mounts let you capture unique video shots from first person perspective whether you're skiing, skating, snowboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, mountain biking, riding dirt bikes, BMX biking and even skydiving, bungee jumping and more
- The camera features an integrated rechargeable battery back that can be easily charged via the USB power port. Both an AC wall charger and a DC car charger are included for quickly charging your WingmanHD whether you're at home or on-the-go

I bought this camera to use as a car cam. Nice features, good resolution. Still trying to figure the best mounting configuration. Max operating temp of 50 degrees C may pose a problem with leaving camera on dash when auto is parked in the sun.

Update to my previous review. Product support folks at Delkin in California have been very helpful. They sent a replacement waterproof case today to replace one that had a crack in the base. I finally got the camera to continuously record. On 1080P I got one hour and 26 minutes of recording. It breaks the recording up into 15-minute files as I have seen other POV cameras do. Quality of the image was good.

Great price. The case came with what looked like a crack at the attach point. Delkin offered to replace it but didn't follow up. The micro SD cards are a pain to work with in any application. It's easy to install it wrong in the WingmanHD, and very difficult to remove if you do that. When you finally get the card out, part of the innards stick to the card and come out with the card. I stuffed them back in and it worked ok. I sent mine out into the rough surf of the Pacific Ocean on a Coat Guard Ski-Doo and it quit recording after 15 or 16 minutes. Guess I didn't understand the settings well, but the instructions leave much to be desired. Can't repeat the shoot because I live across the country, so that was a disappointment. Needed it for publication by a magazine.
