Actually I bought this as a back up for my Nikon V2 camera... glad I did, I've been testing this camera out to see how long it can go in video taping an hour sporting event. The back up battery is key, I had two back to back games to film before I could get to a place to recharge the batteries. I got more than two hours of video taping from the camera, it's going to be great when traveling abroad for two weeks while filming the Maccabi games in Israel this summer. Thinking of getting a third battery too!
