Comments about Gitzo Systematic Leveling Base for Series 3 Tripods:

This is a great product. I'm using it in conjunction with a fluid video head and I shoot mostly outdoors. I often need to set up quickly and fiddling around with getting 3 legs level on uneven and rocky ground is impossible. This solves that issue completely.

Comments about Gitzo Systematic Leveling Base for Series 3 Tripods:

This is the best product you can find to level your camera for landscapes where is uneven. At first I had problems finding the product for the Series 5 Gitzo Tripods, but they told me that Series 3 with a ring adaptor B&H also sells you can fix the problem.

I use this with a gimbal head. It is almost a must have if you are tracking birds or anything else that moves across the field of view. Also use it in a pinch instead of a ball head. Recommended!
