Product Highlights
  • For Shoe Mount Speedlights
  • Universal Speedlight Mounting System
  • Patent-Pending Dual Mirror System
  • Creates Soft, Diffused Light & Shadows
  • Interchangeable Snap-On Diffusion Lens

The Insight Flat Flash Diffuser from Graslon is an optical reflector system that redistributes the light before sending it through the diffusion lens. This softens edges, reduces nasty shadows, and helps to create a much more natural and beautiful picture.

The Graslon Insight has rigid sliding-and-locking mounting brackets that securely fit nearly all Canon, Nikon, Sony, Metz, Olympus, Pentax, Sigma flashes, among many others. With no need for adhesives, the brackets and hook & loop tightening strap allow for a secure yet quickly removable mount.

This Insight comes with a flat front diffuser but is compatible with either the Graslon dome or flat diffusers. The flat diffuser is designed to be a more directional source of light to fill-in when shooting outdoors or wherever you cannot bounce the light.

Universal Speedlight Mounting System
With its rigid sliding-and-locking mounting brackets, it fits nearly all camera speedlight brands. Simply set it up once for the correct size of your speedlight, then quickly and easily add or remove the duffusion system at a moment's notice.
Creates Soft, Diffused Light & Shadows
Get the benefits of the additional light your speedlight provides, without the harsh shadows and overblown highlights. This diffuser creates a larger light source than your flash, before it even diffuses that light. Then the interchangeable front diffusion lens continues to soften and spread out that larger source of light for superior lighting quality and control.
Patent-Pending Dual Mirror System
The internal reflectors used in the Prodigy provide a larger light source from your flash than it has alone, before it is then diffused and enlarged even further. This makes for more flattering, soft light and shadows.
Compatible Flash Manufacturers
The universal mounting system of the Prodigy fits nearly any model of camera flash, including: Canon EOS, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Sigma, Sony, Metz and many others.

Comments about Graslon Insight Flat Flash Diffuser:

I have been using this diffuser, mainly with the dome(which I purchased separately) to photograph
close-up of flowers. I was very pleased in the way it softened shadows and brought out the fine detail of the flowers. I did find it necessary to
increase the flash output by 1.7EV with the dome and 0.7EV with the flat diffuser.
The product is well made, fits snugly to the flash(Nikon SB-900) but is easy to install & remove.
The Diffuser comes with snap-on rear cover, a nice touch providing dust protection when not mounted on the flash.
