Comments about Pearson Education DVD: Canon 5D Mark III: From Snapshots to Great Shots:

I expected this DVD to be similiar to the "Snap Shots to Great Shots" books; that are a good blend of how and why. Well sort-of. It runs 110 minutes. the first 50 minutes are similiar to the type info in the books; but only addresses the most basic functions (setting ESO, Tv, Av, DOF, etc.) in the most simple way: what buttoms to push. Does not get into any of the 5dM3 advanced features, menus, etc.; very basic to any DSLR. The last 60 minutes is all post processing in "Adobe LightRoom 4."
I was expecting this DVD to be somewhere around 1.5 hrs on the 5DM3 including at least some of its advanced features; very disapointed. If they had to include post processing, why not "Digital Photo Professional" that comes with Canon DSLR cameras. If not a special order item, I'd return it in a minute. Unless you need some very, very basic info on using the 5DM3 and have "Light Room 4" don't go here. If the web-site would have listed what the DVD covers, I'd never ordered it.
