This synth sounds amazing. There's a seriously powerful analog sounds and tender ambience that can be achieved. The best part, though, is the complex and versatile step sequencer.

Comments about Elektron Analog Four 4-Voice Analog Tabletop Synth with Digital Control:

For a couple of months I´d been looking for a synth with knobs for "hands on control" and preferably with a stepsequencer. so when Analog four was released I was really excited. After reading up on reviews and watching som videos I decided to visit the local music store to give it a try. I was impressed by the sound of the synth and it´s ease of use so I decided to buy it.

What I really like about the synth is its "hands on nature". Unlike software synths the knobs are more accessible and give instant feedback which puts me in a creative mood. The oscillators sounds rich and the fx (chorus, dealy, reverb)good. The stepsequencer is easy to use and the performance mode is "icing on the cake" on a already powerful synth unit.
I would have liked the possibility to send the stepsquencer midinote data to a DAW to use with my softsynths. Other than that, everything is perfect! I didn´t find it hard to learn the user interface, very few parameters are hidden in submenus. The analog four helps me to enjoy and create music! Thumbs up!

        Feature packed analog synth

Comments about Elektron Analog Four 4-Voice Analog Tabletop Synth with Digital Control:

Elektron have another winner on their hands with the Analog Four, 4 voice analog synthesizer. Many parameters to tweak, full featured step sequencer, parameter locks (an incredibly powerful feature on all Elektron boxes), effects, voice stacking, live performance mode tweaking, the list just goes on and on. Individually each of these is a great reason to buy an A4, but combined make for an incredibly versatile tool!
