The ZE-NBGD600 Battery Grip for Nikon D600 from Zeikos is designed specifically for the Nikon D600 DSLR cameras and accepts one or two EN-EL15 batteries. With two batteries in the grip, your shooting time is effectively doubled.
The design of a battery grip offers a comfortable and stable way in which to hold your DSLR, especially in the vertical position. The battery grip provides an alternate shutter release button to facilitate shooting when held vertically. Also provided are a secondary multi-selector, AE-L/AF-L/enlarger button and control lock. A rubber anti-slip grip improves handling and a tripod socket allows direct mounting to a tripod or monopod.
The battery pack also comes with a tray to hold 6 AA batteries that can power the grip and camera, it accepts 1.5V Alkaline (LR-6), Lithium (FR6), Ni-MH (HR6) or Ni-Mn (ZR6) batteries. A holding case, contact cap and user's manual are also included.

Comments about Zeikos ZE-NBGD600 Battery Grip For Nikon D600:
This is a great addition to the new D600. This camera have the smaller body on the Nikon lineup of FX, this Battery grip makes it more balance and add a feel of a professional camera to it. It also doubles the shooting time adding a second battery and also gives you a shutter button for vertical shooting. Why pay almost 4 times as much on the Nikon if this one does ALL the same things and you'll have spare change for SD cards.

Comments about Zeikos ZE-NBGD600 Battery Grip For Nikon D600:
The only thing I did not like about this grip was the shutter button. It is not responsive like the Nikon button, and it seemed like I had to press quite a bit harder to get the shutter to release. After a few hundred shots, it seems to have loosened up a bit and shoots easier. The back button used for selections is not quite right, and wish the dials had the rubber coating Nikon puts on their buttons to make them smoother and quieter.

Comments about Zeikos ZE-NBGD600 Battery Grip For Nikon D600:
At 100 ma/hour less than Nikons battery, it will not last for as many shots as the original, but for the price it does an excellent job. I would buy another if I needed it!

Comments about Zeikos ZE-NBGD600 Battery Grip For Nikon D600:
I didn't want to give my arm and a leg for a genuine version, so I bought this. The first and the biggest issue was that this grip has slightly wrong construction to fit my D600 precisely. The 4-way button has a round plastic margin that projects from the flat surface of the grip, so that it makes impossible to connect it to the body without a ch!nk between them. So I had to grind this round bump off a bit to make the grip connection tight enough. Nevertheless I notice a little play and squeaks with the grip attached, sometimes annoying. The second big issue: with the grip + 8 AA batteries in it attached to D600, the body suddenly looses contact with external batteries and starts to display that there's no batteries in the grip. Somehow the buttons and dials on the grip keep on working. I cure this bug by replacing the battery holder and inserting it again. This helps for a while. Other shortcomings are more obvious: the grip's casing is plastic except for a metal tripod socket and it's inner fastening. Nikon's original battery grip has whole metal casing (as it comes from one of D600's official product shots). Also I had a silly hope that the command dials would be rubber-covered to match those on the body. Vainly — they are bare slippery plastic. And, finally, the last compliant — the price. IMO it should be 3 times less or so to match this level of quality.

The Dial does not work properly - sends random and incorrect signals to the camera. Very disappointed.

Comments about Zeikos ZE-NBGD600 Battery Grip For Nikon D600:
I am an average photographer, this is the first grip I have bought for any camera system. Honestly, I just didn't want to shell out the insane amount of money that anyone wants for the the Nikon grip.
I like the feel of the grip, all the controls work great, once locked down it has stayed firmly on, and fits great on the camera.
Being able to use a EN-EL15 battery and the AA battery pack is great. Only draw back I can see is that one battery is in the grip while the other is still in the camera itself, so you have to remove the grip to get the battery out to charge it.
I am only giving it a 4 star at this time because of having to remove the grip to get the battery out of the camera to charge it.

I have a few Nikon battery grips for my other camers and have been using them for years.
I also own two battery grips made by Zeikos. In terms of performance, I haven't noticed any difference between the Nikon brand and the
so-called third-party Zeikos brand.
