Comments about Wacom Cintiq 22HD Pen Display:
I really like this Cintiq 22HD. It is easier to use than the Intuos which I really didn't care for. With the Cintiq you are working directly "over" your project and since I use this professionally as an illustrator I felt that this was an important feature that was lacking in the Intuos. (Don't get me wrong, Wacom makes great products and there is quality in each but there wasn't as much of a learning curve using the Cintiq as there was with the Intuos 5. It just felt more natural.) About the only thing I can say against the product is that it is pricey and the price stays fairly constant no matter which vendor you buy it from but B&H had about the best price I could find and their customer service is great. The Cintiq is big and can take up a lot of desk space (25.5" x 15.5") so you need to figure out how to work that out but it does have great resolution. I am using this pen display with 2 additonal monitors and they all work together nicely. Another great feature is that you can configure the keys and touch pads to suit your work style and work flow so that productivity is high.

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 22HD Pen Display:
I have been wanting a Cintiq for years and now I finally have one. If I could use 1 word to describe the Wacom Cintiq 22HD it would be Precision. The ability to do fine detailed work directly on my images is a God send. I have been using the Wacom Intuos 5 touch and while I really enjoy it I have always felt that I would benefit from using the Cintiq. I would highly recommend purchasing this unit to anyone that really wants to take more control of there work.

The Cintiq is the premiere tool for marriage of traditional painting and digital. I have a fine art background. The Cintiq allows me the ability to convert that talent into 3D animation production. It has dramatically increased the production pipeline for my company.

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 22HD Pen Display:
I have used a Wacom Intuos tablet for years. It is perfect for editing photos and most tasks. But for anything like drawing or lettering, you do need a Cintiq. Ok, some people may be able to train themselves to draw with an Intuos. I could not.
In making comics, the Cintiq saves me the time of scanning, erasing, ink corrections, and cleaning up scans.
I find the delay between starting a marking motion and the mark appearing very short and easy to ignore, unless I'm using one of the Photoshop tilt-sensitive brushes. (I use a MacPro from 2009 and CS6).
Ideally, you would want a computer dedicated to digital art, where the Cintiq is your monitor. Otherwise you have to manage a dual-monitor desktop or get used to doing all your other tasks with the Cintiq.
The Apple wireless keyboard will not fit between the legs of the stand, but the on-screen keyboard is easy to use (just slow).
This has a nice non-glare screen, which may take getting used to if your original monitor had a glossy finish.
The Cintiq is a pleasure to use, once you adapt to the way it works.

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 22HD Pen Display:
I have previously owned a Wacom Intuos2 and Intuos4. I watched many product demonstrations on YouTube on the Cintiq 22HD and was intrigued about being able to draw directly on the screen. I purchased from B&H because I've bought some big-ticket items here before and I value their reputation and service. The item came packaged beautifully and it was pretty easy to set up. Once hooked up, I found I am absolutely AMAZED at being able to draw on the screen and the realistic feel it has. I love the idea of being able to customize the ExpressKeys, which makes it easier NOT to need the keyboard for functions in Photoshop and other software. This has opened up a whole new world of making digital art and I'm extremely excited to use it. If you own a Mac, you will need the Minidisplay port to DVI adapter in order to hook it up.

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 22HD Pen Display:
Amazing product. The cintiq is easy to set up and easy to use. All the functions are fast and simple to figure out; small learning curve. The pen it comes with is very accurate and responsive as well. If you are use to iphone or ipad screens, you'll notice that the Cintiq HD quality screen is not nearly as good. However, it is a decent price for what you get. I'm happy with my purchase.

Bought the 12WX first, returned because of brightness and resolution and upgraded to the 22HD. So far, really like it. Easy to setup and use. Wacom's shortcut key setup is easy and fast, Hoping this lasts a long time because I'm already very attached to it. Even use it as my main monitor.

This is not only one of the best products I have ever purchased, it has instantly improved my digital art. The screen is large and being HD format is actually a huge bonus. I have compared this to the larger 24hd and 24hd touch and I am so happy I went with this one. It is only slightly smaller screen but it is light, the other ones are around 70lbs. This one is only about 12-15lbs. this is a great product by a great company. buy it now if you are debating.

Comments about Wacom Cintiq 22HD Pen Display:
First off, I want to say wow i love my cintiq. The quality of the screen is superb. Ive only had it for a couple weeks so im still in the honeymoon period with it. But its every i expected with wacom. Although expensive, you know that wacom does not cut corners with their products. Others on different websites have complained about dead pixels. Mine are all here and I asked a B&H guy and he said that they would exchange my cintiq for another if there was anything wrong with it. Which is comforting. Although the 24hd is tempting, this cintiq is 600-700 cheaper and the 24hd weighs like 75lbs! If youre looking into a cintiq thats mid range but still packs a huge punch in terms of quality, this cintiq is for you. (another tip, if you are using a laptop pc, make sure to buy a dvi to hdmi adapter. otherwise you wont be able to plug it in)
