Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus Single Use Camera with Flash 27 Exposures:

The film is good and tolerant. However, the camera's performance was sketchy at best.

Exposures were inconsistent. Did not handle room lighting without flash at all. Low contrast scenes were rendered poorly with poor negative density. Flash is a plus and a necessity for all exposures using this camera.

Film advancement was also inconsistent. Some frames had very slight overlap while the spacing between other frames ranged from thin to normal to wide and as stated some frames overlapped at the edges.

Maybe the camera was designed this way, but the travel distance on the shutter release is excessive. You have to push really deep to trip the shutter. Since the button is flush to slightly recessed, I assume to avoid accidental exposures, this long travel made it difficult at times to completely press the shutter button.

Parallax error is substantial at close range and noticeable at even further distances.

As for sharpness I have only processed the film at this time and cannot really speak to the sharpness of the focus. If I can repost later after printing a couple of prints and my contact sheet I will update this information.

I have seen other one time cameras produce great results with much better consistency without the aforementioned problems. However, if you have to have a one time use in B&W for a class as I did before the instructor allows you to move on to digital, then this is really your only option out there.
