The versatile ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector can be used either as a reflector to bounce light onto a subject, as a flag to shield light away from it or as a snoot to produce a tight and narrow circle of light. Because of its size, the Large Reflector is perfect for off-camera use. The design incorporates 3 positionable rods that allows it to be molded into position and held in place.
This FlashBender is made from the highest quality materials, including genuine Cordura nylon. The white reflective surface is made from a durable, wipeable, synthetic fabric which has been tested for neutrality so that it won't alter the color temperature of the reflected light.
This Rogue FlashBender requires no separate attachment strap, nor any adhesives to be applied to the strobe. The easy attachment belt built into this FlashBender is designed to work with all makes and models of shoe mount flashes.

The actual product is very good. There was one flaw with the large bender. It is too heavy. I have a new 580II flash. It falls at certain positions and for this reason I could not give it a better review. I have since ordered the smaller version and it is much better for walking around. If you want to use the large for a flash that is static on a stand it works great, otherwise the smaller version would be a better option.

Very useful for on the go photography instead of setting up soft boxes and Umbrellas this is a much easier set up for diffusing light.

This is a handy little item. It's durable and has many uses. I use it mostly as a snoot on my Canon 600EX-RT speedlights. It takes up very little space in the gadget bag and you can bend it into whatever shape you need. It also works great as a bounce tool.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector:
The Rogue FlashBender is a "miracle worker" in outdoor shots for a soft fill flash. I get bounce when bounce would be impossible otherwise due to being outdoors. In combination with partial or spot metering, many shots are rescued from being blown out in one way or another. Being able to turn it into a snoot is also a terrific option. An outstanding addition to my bag.

Awesome difference from straight bounce flash! -1 star just due to the weight of the product causing the flash to collapse when not locked vertical or horizontal.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector:
I love the flexibility of this tool... no pun intended! It's very easy to use, stays snuggly on the flash and creates a nice large lightsource when you're bouncing light.
Definitley a more useful "bounce" surface than a card that is flat and can not be manipulated.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector:
No complaints except the bulk and weight of the thing. I followed the recommendations here to stay with the large one and haven't been sorry. It would be nice if there was some kind of carrying case with belt loops or something. I didn't catch the fact that you can use it as a flag when there's a plant or something nearby that you don't want to flash. Great gadget.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector:
Many uses for this-- snoot, flag, bounce.. It is kind of heavy so when flash is not locked back into full back position, it may cause the flash to bend forward towards 90 degrees. Creates a big soft light for such a small space. Perfect for the run and gun kit.

The day after receiving this I was on a job and found that I had to flag the light off of an area. I almost forgot that I had it, but it worked like a barn door on my Speedlight and did just what I needed. It is something that I may only need occasionally, but it will always stay packed in my kit

Great reflector/bouncer. It dances to your music. Creative, wide lighting. Strapping around the flash is little harder, need to place the camera to hang on our shoulder or rest on something to strap the Flashbender. Little heavy, but manageable. Rigid and feels solid quality.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector:
First I wasn't sure whether to buy this one or the smaller version. On a picture it looked very big, but I decided to give it a try. I haven't use it much yet, but from what I've done so far it works great. Light is much softer and people's faces are evenly lit. They look much more natural. It is quite bulky and you need to remember about it, especially in crowded environment.

This versatile modifier can be bent to direct light (or block it) is so many ways. I will using this mainly for directing light for real estate photography and quick casual portraits, as a snoot for focused light, and perhaps the black side as a flag to block undesireable stray light. With Velcro on both sides that attaches to itself, is the quickest way to modify light (other than your hand), and couldn't be easier to use. Very durable, folds flat.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector:
Does a great job controlling light. Can pretty much blend it in any fashion. Very solid construction. Like the fact that is has the Velcro strap and instead of a sticker velcro system that other products use. Only slight issue is when you put a flash in certain positions on a tripod it can cause the head of the flash to tilt downwards due to the weight of the flashbender, but this can be easily corrected for by tilting the flash back a little more to compensate for the weight. Love the product works well.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector:
This is a great product to redirect the light. It is simple to use, just bend it into shape. You can get a softer front facing flash without pointing directly at the subject. I attended Syl's speedlighter event and he recommended it for various uses. It definelty comes in handy when a cieling it too high too bounce off of or changes the color of the light.
The only downside is more on the flash, if not locked in the top position it is heavy enough to change the angle of the flash.

Comments about ExpoImaging Rogue FlashBender Large Positionable Reflector:
From my one time use, I really like this. Its travel friendly and so it saves space and time from setting up something too intense for a shot that might not be as important. I just need to flash to fill some light into the shot.
Bends easily and stays there.
I only had one time where my flash unit (Canon 580EX2 fell due to the weight)
