Comments about Motorola S11 Flex HD Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones:

I loved the previous generation except for a poor ear bud design which made them very susceptible to getting knocked off. So added these onto another order; Much better design protecting the ear bud from dislodgment, but with a terrible fit. I have to turn the music up way too loud to hear it and pretty much lose the bass entirely

Comments about Motorola S11 Flex HD Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones:

I asked my GF for a set of these for Xmas 2012. I am a bicyclist and can sweat profusely. I have had other Motorola BT headphones and they never stood up. Not riding much in the winter, my first try with these was in March 2013. There is an inner adjustable plastic band that literally disintegrated prior to first use, crumbling at the point it joins the larger body.

My GF contacted the store and they said the 90 day warranty was expired. Tuff luck dude.

So I sync it with my iPhone 5 and away we go. It worked great for the first half a dozen times. The sound quality was good and the fit with a bicycle helmet and sunglasses was acceptable.

Then the principle body of the band broke in half in the middle of the back and was held together mostly by the inner wiring. Even so, they still sounded fine and I could wear them.

Then last week (Aug 2012) after the startup announcement that they were good for "more than 5 hours of play time" upon starting, they completely died about 40 minutes later. I got the beeps indicating the battery was about to die. When it did, there has been no resuscitation possible. It wouldn't recharge and will not come back on.

I bought some other China made products (not Motorola) during this time where the plastic was brittle and crumbled upon any use whatsoever. So it may be designed in the old USA, but it's built with horrible quality Chinese plastic.

With a 90 day warranty, I wouldn't buy these again for nothing. This is my 3rd try on these products and they have all failed.

If anyone knows of a durable, sweat proof BT headset, please let me know.

Comments about Motorola S11 Flex HD Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones:

I listen to music or books while working-out, walking or running. I also wear sunglasses, which can cause issues with these type headsets. The adaptability of the ear pods to telescope up and down mean that when I have sunglasses on, I can extend the pods and my glasses sit under the over ear portion keeping them secure. If I am out at night or before sun up, they adapt so that they still fit securely.
The pairing and audio queue for pairing let you know that they are on. This was missing in the "10 HD" which I had before these. The "10 HD" just chimes, but they chimed when shut off as well. Because they had a soft touch switch, I often turned them on, and off by holding the button too long. The power button on the 11 HD Flex is above the right ear, has a solid feel and instantly lets you know it is on. I haven't mastered the switch function to skip tracks yet, but that will come with time and practice. They work great for transitioning into and out of calls while listening to audio tracks. They do not drop the connection as other blue-tooth headsets had done in the past when one app stops and another resumes.
The second band in the rear is adjustable and when fitted properly supports and stabilizes the headset, keeping bouncing to a minimum. That results in less time re-positioning then and more secure fit in the ears. The net result is better more consistent audio experience when you are very active.
The ear piece cushions are very securely attached to the headset. One reason I replaced my "10 HD" was that I put them around my neck while working and talking to someone, and the silicone ear piece pulled off and was lost in the garden. The 11 HD will not have that issue. I had to work pretty hard to switch ear cushion sizes because they are securely attached in a deep grove of the headset.

Comments about Motorola S11 Flex HD Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones:

I've only had the S11 for about a week, but I have used it for several hours already.
So far, I am very happy with it. My primary purpose in buying it was to listen to music while working out or cleaning around the house, without dealing with pesky cords getting in the way.
              It charges quickly and conveniently.
The audio quality is great so far. It goes as loud as I need, and I feel like the bass levels are adequate for in-ear headphones.
My complaint would be that it takes a while to adjust to your ears, to get it comfortable and attain the best sound quality. However, once you do, it stays put. It's worth it to take some time to get it adjusted optimally for your ears. On my jogs I have had no problem with it slipping, and it feels invisible to me. It's awesome not to worry about a cord flipping around or coming lose from my iphone.
It didn't have a problem connecting to either a macbook or an iphone, and the sound quality is great with both.
I have not used it for many calls, but in the few I did, I was able to hear the other person very clearly. They were able to hear me best when there was little background noise, I think probably due to the location of the mic.
But overall I love it and would buy it again! The multi function button is GREAT.
I would like to see a slightly better bluetooth range, however. I get halfway through my house and it starts to break up. So far that's not a major problem though.

Comments about Motorola S11 Flex HD Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones:

-use it during work outs and practicing basketball; at times just around the house doing chores.
-comfortable, good battery life, intuitative controls with conveniently designed placement of control buttons, size modifying elastic band to allow fine fitting for rigorous activity, good looks.
                - 4 stars because 5 stars should be reserved to "blow your mind value and quality with no competition " products. Sound is good for Bluetooth, but not on par with wired headphones, volume and fullness of sound attenuated likely due to Bluetooth and conserving battery life.
                - for current market, good enough for me to purchase another one due to overwhelming demand from others who wanted to use it all the time.
