The black 7x35 Aculon A211 Binocular from Nikon is a handheld fixed-magnification optic with multicoated aspherical lenses and an ergonomically-designed housing. For the redesigned Aculon series, Nikon endows the Aculon A211 binoculars with environmentally-friendly Eco-Glass elements composed of responsibly-sourced arsenic-free material. The Aculon binocular's Porro prism design delivers enhanced depth of field, and its multicoated aspheric optical path delivers the image clarity and flat FOV demanded by nature observers.

Also new to the 2013 version of the Aculon binocular is a sculpted rubber-armored housing that is designed to fit comfortably into the observer's hand and provide non-slip handling. Grooved ridges atop the housing and a generously-sized focusing wheel enable adjustments to the interpupillary distance and the point of focus even while wearing gloves. Nikon's Turn-and-Slide eyecups allow quick adjustment to the eye relief. The combination of image quality and user-friendly design make the 7x35 Aculon A211 a cost-effective option for mid-range recreational glassing.

Comments about Nikon 7x35 Aculon A211 Binocular:

These are heavy binoculars compared to what I had been using, but the sightlines are better and the (low) price is right. The close focus, bright colors and Nikon quality make for a nice birdwatching experience. They seem right for an urban birder -- tough, simple, modest magnification. Carrying the binoculars on my bicycle trips to Chicago lakefront bird hot spots has now become more difficult because there's no strap on the (bulky) case.

Comments about Nikon 7x35 Aculon A211 Binocular:

I needed a small pair of binoculars to supplement my 10 X 42 monocular and larger astro binocs. The Nikon 7X35's were just the ticket! The view is crisp and bright; much better than I anticipated. I've used them for back yard birding and will certainly pack them on my next field trip. The only complaint was the stiffness in the right side eyepiece adjustment but that problem seems to have worked itself out by through use.

I purchased this particular binocular for the cost as compared to other binoculars. The quality was above all the rest in the same price range. Would buy it again, but I have only on grandson. It is his Xmas gift from me.

This was a Christmas gift for our 12-year old granddaughter. She loves stargazing and these are just the right size for her. And what great binoculars! What amazed us even more is that a case and a really good quality strap were included! And you just cannot beat the price. We are ordering one for ourselves!
