I use this AV Receiver to replace my cheap AV receiver because the old one does not have HDMI inputs.

This unit has 4 HDMI inputs plus Video Component input and a USB input for your iPod, iPhone.

This is an upgraded model with discrete amplifier rather than the chip amplifier in the older model.

Setup was easy with the auto adjustment mic that came with the unit.

All the controls were intutive and the remote is great. Couple with my small Bose speaker system, it really brought life to the room.

THe only feature that is lacking is networking. Since my Bluray player has WiFi already, I really don't need network capibility in the unit.

Overall, this is a great product for a low price.

              Just enough HDMI inputs.

Great features and great sound at a great price. Used in kids classroom in combination with JBL Control 1 speakers for displaying a Blu-ray and a computer. The downside is that HDMI audio can only be output via built in speakers or via the HDMI out. It cannot be output on the audio-out connectors.

Set up is very easy, the YPAO speaker optimization is excellent and could not be simpler. This is an entry level receiver so don't expect heavy gauge speaker wire to fit into the connections very well. It also does not up-convert non-HDMI video for output to your TV monitor. You must run a separate composite video or component video cable to your monitor and switch inputs on your TV monitor. The RX-V375 is great value for money.

Comments about Yamaha RX-V375BL 5.1-Channel AV Receiver:

I bought this to serve as a hub for my new Panasonic plasma, XBox and future CD player. It was super easy to install and the sound test it lets you perform with a microphone (supplied) worked great. It couldn't be easier. So far I'm really impressed with the clear natural sound coming from it, even when playing CD's from a very average DVD player. My only qualms are that the many different modes (2-ch, 5.1, etc. and all the processing options) are very confusing for me as someone who is not really an expert. Granted, I haven't yet studied the manual in detail so I will not penalize the Receiver for that. Highly recommended!

I use this receiver to connect my turntable, Blu-ray player, and my TV. It was very easy to set up and works great as a low price entry level receiver. It doesn't have many sexy features and the EQ settings are pretty limited, but it delivers exactly what it promises.

Comments about Yamaha RX-V375BL 5.1-Channel AV Receiver:

I am using this receiver together with Paradigm Atom speakers in my bedroom, and it performs flawlessly in sound quality. The interface with USB drives is not something to my taste, I'd rather connect an MP3 player and use the better designed user interfaces on the player. Another drawback is that HDMI requires power to be on, otherwise, TV will not receive the signal.

Lightning claimed my old friend. A high watt Pioneer. I require a quality spec unit, but had some concern about the power of this Yamaha. It proved to be a false concern. I can load this unit up and it sounds great. Has a monster owners manual on disk to allow new owners to setup the unit to whatever you have, but I found it to be very intuitive. Inputs/Outputs will suit most. The price value of this unit is remarkable.

For the price, this unit is amazing. Plenty of power for a small to midsize room. With good speakers you get movie theater sound quality. I bought the 8" Yamaha Sub with this and BOSE speakers. Not a whole lot of frills, but who cares, the sound quality is perfect!
