The angled view Regal M2 100ED Spotting Scope from Celestron combines a high-transmission optical path with a nitrogen-filled magnesium alloy housing to deliver reliable imaging performance at low light and in unforgiving weather conditions. At the core of the Regal M2 are fully multicoated optics, including BaK-4 prisms and an extra low dispersion (ED) glass objective that minimizes chromatic aberration and maximizes light gathering. Multiple layers of Celestron's proprietary XLT coating on each lens preserve brightness and transmit contrast-rich images to the eyepiece.

This version of the Regal M2 spotting scope includes a 22-67x eyepiece that is ideal for intermediate to long-range glassing. The broad magnification range, comfortable 20mm eye relief, and twist-up rubber eyecup make this zoom eyepiece well-suited for long-duration observations. The scope's standard 1.25" eyepiece mount will accept most astronomy eyepieces, which enables a near-infinite number of optical configurations.

Complementing the image quality and weather-sealed construction of the Regal M2, several features enhance the scope's functionality and observer's user-experience. An included T-adapter ring permits DSLR camera mounting to the objective assembly, transforming the 100ED into a high-transmission digiscoping platform. The rotating tripod collar has a 1/4" mounting socket and is detented at multiple positions to provide the observer with alternate viewing orientations. A sliding sunshade, sighting aid, and dual-focus mechanism equip the Regal M2 with the functionality needed for a wide range of outdoor glassing applications.

Comments about Celestron Regal M2 100ED Spotting Scope with 22-67x Eyepiece (Angled Viewing):

After reading the reviews on this scope I was ready for a few problems with viewing. pleasantly surprised by the optics. They are simply amazing even at max 67X.
A little overwhelmed by the size, this thing is huge. If you buy one to carry thru the woods you need to be s good sized person for this one. mine is stationary most of the time. I love it. I really love the price, compared to 80mm and others of same quality optics.

well where to start..I first baught the regal m2 80ed was pretty happy with it [$]$..but I wanted the 100 ed for not much more $ I`ll figured ..less than [$]$ canadian money..brand new in the box I received my spotting scope,I first notice more brightness in that one witch is what I wanted since I want to try digiscopping with it (take picture with a digital camera) the regal comes with a t ring but you will need another t ring to attach your dslr camera ( the t2 ring ) either to fit canon or nikon etc..first I install my canon dslr and my picture were distorded..( focus in the midlle but out of focus all around) without the lens on camera..only body then I try filter rings to match my tread on scope with my camera lens on ..way better resultsbaught myself a iphone 5 adapter to put on works awsome.here come the clicht..found some debrit allready beteewn lenses of my eyepiece of my scope..still waiting for answer from my suplier..it`s warranty ..might have to ship it to have it clean or just gonna get a new one..all that after 2 weeks..but all that being said, it`s looks to be a pretty solid spotting scope with a better carrying case compare to the 80 ..I find hard to have a clear magnification at it`s fardest view same whit the 80..but again every scopes have there limits..very light for a 100mmand time will tell !

Comments about Celestron Regal M2 100ED Spotting Scope with 22-67x Eyepiece (Angled Viewing):

This is a well made scope that yields beautiful images at all magnification ranges. Having said that I must also say that I had to return it. I purchased it for casual observing and it's great for that activity but I also wanted to do photography using a DSLR. When using a DSLR (Canon 60D), the vignetting is so bad it is unusable. I didn't try to adapt a point and shoot but contrary to Celestron's claim I don't think there is any way to use a DSLR with it. Too bad, it's a beautiful scope.
