Comments about WD TV Live Hub Media Player (2TB):

It has all the features one could possibly want for entertainment center hub (except DVD). The harddrive is visible through home network and supports standard Windows directory structure (unlike PS3), which makes it a simple matter of sppying and pasting all your music/video collection from a network storage. When it works - I am happy with it. Unfortunately, every now and then a completely different problem pops up. Sometimes it doesn't boot up and gets stuck trying to load the start-up script. Sometimes there is no video signal. Soemtimes Netflix plays without sound. Sometimes it just hangs and behaves slow or funny in some other way. You get the picture... The best way to resolve is to restart. So far restarting (sometimes hard reset) helped resolve all issues. But it gets annoying. Every time I turn this device on I wonder if it is going to be "one of those times" when I will have to monkey around rebooting it over and over until the issue goes away.
