The SpectroLED SpectroLED Three Light Interview Kit by Genaray includes one 9.0" and two 14" LED lights, diffusers, cables, power sources and 3 light stands. A 5.4" Mini Boom and a 5/8" stud adapter are supplied so that you can use one of the SpectroLEDs overhead or at an offset angle. All of the fixtures offer 0-100% dimming and a 60 degree beam angle. Each light comes with a 100-240VAC power supply but if you need to shoot in out of the way locations you'll find its DC (battery) capability handy. A cigarette lighter adapter cord is included for each light to that end. Just add your choice of optional 12V battery.

The larger SpectroLED-14's 1,144 LEDs output an impressive brightness equivalent many times its nominal 75W rating, while the 9.0" light maximizes its output using 500 LEDs. You can soften the output on all units while widening their native 60 degree coverage by slipping the included 3/4 stop diffusion sock over the reflector. Heat is never a concern since the cool-running SpectroLEDs are barely warm to the touch.

Another way to soften the quality of light is the umbrella socket that's built into the mount. You can use reflective or translucent umbrellas for bounce or shoot-through effects. The socket accepts 7.0 or 8.0 mm shafts and the mount has a 65 degree tilting range for accurate placement.

        Very nice light set.

Comments about Genaray SpectroLED Three Light Interview Kit (100-240VAC/12VDC):

It's a pleasure using these lights. I don't burn my fingers trying to hang diffusion material; the lights are nice and cool. They use less power; won't blow circuit breakers. The light is 5600K; I don't need to cover windows to keep daylight out. The dimmers let me get the intensity I need without moving and tilting lights. LED is sure easier to use than tungsten. This is a very nice light set at a good price.

Comments about Genaray SpectroLED Three Light Interview Kit (100-240VAC/12VDC):

This LED light kit will surprise you with the quality and amount of light it generates! It did me and my videographer. I needed lights for training videos that I produce for retailers who sell my company's products. I have a very small space in the corner of a warehouse where I must shoot these videos. I've always had the videographer I hire bring his lights, but they are heavy duty, high wattage and -- while they easily lit the set -- they generate lots of heat and sometimes trip breakers. This LED kit generates no heat, uses much much less power and is lighter weight. The dimmers are a big help. No, I couldn't use this kit to light an entire studio, but shooting from a few feet away, in an area confined to the width of a 9' roll of seamless, they work great. The videographer thought he'd have to supplement with one or two of his big lights, but he didn't.

This is all you need to do basic video lighting. Great lights, no heat! And each can be adjusted for intensity. They also all have slots to add photo umbrellas for softening and bounce.

Comments about Genaray SpectroLED Three Light Interview Kit (100-240VAC/12VDC):

I love this kit, i use it for indoor/studio and mostly interviews of course. But the power is enough to use two sets to light a whole green screen and actor with it and shoot at 5.6. Great Stuff

1.) LEDs are super bright. I found it's more porwerful than a kinoflo 4 bank and uses much less energy/heat.
2.) They're super easy to use, to carry, to set up in no time, they're light and quite reliable.
3.) Very long electrical cords, they're so convenient.

            What i don't like:
1.) They are not made for heavy duty, they'll suffer from my clients who rent them making them a little bit fragile
2.) The DC connectors of the small lights got burned in 2 months, regular use, both, the rest are ok. And i have a friend who had the same problem, so that makes it a problem from Genaray.
3.) There's no lightbox for them. That's a shame because the umbrellas are ugly and they spill light in all the room, the umbrellas that are reflective will eat half of the power and that's not good

Comments about Genaray SpectroLED Three Light Interview Kit (100-240VAC/12VDC):

We received this kit and immediately took it out on location. Here's the major findings:
1.) The LEDs are definitely bright enough. In fact, we used them at about 75%.
2.) They run very cool. Heat is not an issue at all.
3.) The electrical cords are very long. Very little need for extensions. The kit includes DC connectors, which is a nice touch.
4.) The tripod stands are very light to carry, but they are substantial. There are many settings.
5.) We were able to take the kit out of the car and setup on location, ready to shoot, in 15 minutes tops. And we didn't hurry.

Bottom line is that this kit is great for out of the studio shooting. The pieces are light to transport and you have a lot of options in setting up your lights just so.
