The Intervalometer Attachment System for Tripods from Intervalock allows you to firmly attach your intervalometer to any tripod's leg or column. This prevents the intervalometer from freely swinging, possibly subjecting it to damage. Your intervalometer sits in a built-in pocket and is secured to your tripod by wrapping the water and mildew-resistant nylon strap around the center column or leg.

The strap has neoprene backing to minimize abrasion between the tripod and the Intervalock. Once mounted, the system is held in place via a touch fastener. This strap helps organize all excess cord from your intervalometer by wrapping it around the tripod and holding it in place with a touch fastened flap. You will always maintain full access to all your intervalometer's functions.

For time lapse photography, this system stabilizes the intervalometer against the tripod and eliminates the cord from becoming tangled. When you're finished shooting, you can leave the your intervalometer mounted to the tripod. When the strap is removed, the system rolls up into itself and can be easily stored in your gear bag.

I haven't had a chance to use the attachment out in the field yet so my review is based on in home use. I bought the holder to keep my shutter releases/timers from flopping around against my tripod. It attaches to the tripod leg easy enough. I think it would have been a better design to have the strap positioned at the top of the holder instead of the bottom. If you don't wrap your cable around the tripod leg and close the flap over the cable the holder will slide to one side. Other than that it's a pretty good system.

      Poor design

When you put the strap around the tripod leg it depresses the shutter release button.
The other strap does not do any thing.

Comments about Intervalock Intervalometer Attachment System for Tripods:

Was looking for a sleeve for my intervalometer was damaged due to freely hanging from tripod. This secures it on one of the legs pretty well. The design isn't perfect, I feel the pocket could have been a little bigger and you can't really leave the sleeve on the tripod leg without the intervalometer but it is much better than replacing the device due to damage.

Comments about Intervalock Intervalometer Attachment System for Tripods:

The Attachment System works good once you figure out how to attach it to the tripod leg. It's a little confusing when you first unroll it from it's storage configuration. I had to go back to the Product Pictures and zoom in to see how they showed it. It works great except that the velcro strap that goes abound the tripod leg covers the manual remote switch, but I use the delay feathers on my Intervalometer.

I was getting tired of hanging my timer on the tripod and sometimes having it fall and shake the camera (blown shot). Ran across this during the B&H email sent out and instantly ordered... The units perfect and everything holds firm to the tripod leg. There's cable management built in and the entire system can stay on during transport with no problems.

Love it and will be purchasing a second one for my travel tripod to leave on also.
