A little time to setup, but works like a charm. Does what it's supposed to do. Wished 3 DVI-HDMI adapters were included, but alas maybe in another life!

Comments about Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital SE External Adapter:

I have just set up a home flight simulator and by using a Matrox TriplreHead2Go I can drive three 1920 x 1080 displays in extended mode for scenery from one display port which leaves the remaining PC video Card ports for a Flight panel display and touch screen. The result is amazing.

Comments about Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital SE External Adapter:

I work making and delivering multi-screen presentations for large conferences and this functioned exactly as expected.

There are more expensive solutions that are more robust for this type of work, but for the price there is nothing comparable. (The more expensive solutions give you finer control when using with high end video switchers such as spyder or encore)

You should take a very close look at the Mattrox website to check specifications so there are no surprises.I easily managed to get a 3x1080 output from a new model retina macbook pro. (I would strongly suggest using one with a discrete graphics card)

For my use, it has been extremely reliable, but I always work with a full backup system running in tandem. You should be aware of the necessary performance issues when using applications like keynote, adding and animating very high-resolution images or videos will always start to slow things down.

I was able to run 4K videos across all screens using h264.

Comments about Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital SE External Adapter:

I bought this card because I wanted to connect it directly to my macbook pro via thunderbolt without the need for adapters. However, it didn't work the first time I tried to used, because this particular model supports ONLY DIGITAL output. In other words, there cannot be any adapters to VGA in any part of your setup. This is important to me because I usually work with other people's projectors, and I can't always use HDMI or DVI cabling. When I can't be close to the projector (in vjing or videomapping perfomances), the standard is analog signal, for it allows the use of longer cables without distortion of signal.

Comments about Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital SE External Adapter:

There are 3 variations of the Matrox triplehead2go and though i did my research I still ended up with the wrong product and i am in the AV industry. I purchased the Digital SE edition and it came with Display port connections. I understood it was HDMI and even though i got an adaptor it still would not work. This needs to be explained CLEARLY so as not to create confusion.
