The M-Plate Mini Tripod Plate from Custom SLR is a universal camera tripod plate with an integrated mount that is compatible with most Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Swiss connections. It also contains numerous mounting holes that will connect it to virtually all tripod plates. Made from aerospace grade aluminum alloy, anodized with a black finish, it is strong and lightweight (1.3 oz) and provides a secure connection and easy transfer between varying tripod heads. Its numerous 1/4"-20 holes will also connect to photo and video accessories and attachments including flash brackets and video rigs. A corked layer on the top side of the mini plate protects your camera from scratches and damage.

Comments about Custom SLR M-Plate Mini Tripod Plate:
I'm using mostly the RC2 plate with Manfrotto ballhead. I was attrating by this plate that looking nice compare to RC2 gray plate (I use to let it all time on the camera).
Unfortunately when used with ballhead like the MH055M0-Q2 or the 486RC2, the mini plate doesn't fit in the quick release. When compare the RC2 and this mini plate, it become obvious the RC2 is larger. So take care to check compliancy when used on RC2 quick release.
