Comments about ikan ELE-VO 15mm Rod Vertical Offset:

This is a nice accessory. If your Matte box or follow focus is too low you can mount this on your rods (60mm spacing) and mount a second set of rods up higher to mount your Matte box or other accessories. Height is adjustable with the 4 allen screws at the front. Rod alignment is precise and the offset is solid and well built. A good value at the price.

Comments about ikan ELE-VO 15mm Rod Vertical Offset:

I needed to change the elevation and add some rails to a DSLR rig and decided this was the way to go. In hindsight I wish I would have gone with one a bit lighter weight, even if it added to the cost. Every piece I add to my DSLR rig adds weight quickly, so this may be overbuilt for my needs, which are handheld a majority of the time. It works exactly as advertised, so I just didn't evaluate my overall goal well enough. Works great, though, and weight is no issue when tripod mounted. Or perhaps I just need more time at the gym.

Comments about ikan ELE-VO 15mm Rod Vertical Offset:

I bought the ELE-VO 15mm Rod Vertical Offset by ikan to use with my Tilta DSLR rig from ikan. I started with a Nikon D-300S mounted in the Tilta rig and it centered with the matt box perfectly. But, then when I mounted the Nikon D4 which is a taller camera, the lens no longer centered vertically in the matt box opening. This unit fixed that perfectly!
