The Agfa Photo 67mm Multi-Coated UV Filter is a general use, clear filter that helps to absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight. No additional coloration or contrast is provided, allowing you to pair this filter with others.

The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.

This filter features a multi-coated optical glass construction to help reduce internal reflections and improve light transmission and contrast. It also features an aluminum filter ring to provide durability and help reduce jamming.

Comments about AGFA PHOTO 67mm Multi-Coated UV Filter:

I had a puple hue appearing in some of the bark on some trees that photographed and the sky didn't look as blue as it does with the filter off. So, I sent them back for a refund. I talked to B&H tech support and they recommended that I go with B+W UV filters. So, I'll give those a try...

I just use these for lens protection purposes. I have a couple different sizes of the same filter for 2 different lenses. They seem to work fine and the price is very reasonable. They seem to be good quality. I usually buy Hoya, but I thought I would try these Agfa's instead. I don't see any difference compared to the Hoya's...
