The YETI Dual Camera Harness from BlackRapid enables you to carry two cameras simultaneously, each held in a single shoulder design and ready to be slid up to shooting position. The wide, non-slip foam pad minimizes the stress on your shoulders and back. The harness includes a cross-body stabilizer that holds the harness firmly against your body and a second stabilizer for wearing one of the straps under your right or left arm-depending on your preference.

One strap on the harness is 63" than the other one is 59". Each strap can support a camera with attached lens. You can detach both straps and only use one with the included underarm BlackRapid BRAD (BlackRapid Arm Defense). This connection makes sure your camera stays in place while you're on the move. The BRAD attaches to the harness using 2 strap hooks and 2 quick-release buckles.

The YETI screws to your camera's 1/4-20 tripod socket via the included two stainless steel FastenRs. The FastenRs couple to the ConnectR2s. The ConnectR2 is a high-strength steel coated unit that features a smooth swivel and positive lock providing a full range of movement to your camera. The YETI is compatible with optional BlackRapid MOD items.

This is the best way to carry two cameras at the same time. I carry 2 Canon 7Ds with a 70-210 2.8 and the 24-70 2.8. This is the only way to go. They swing no more than a standard strap, and you will no longer have to ensure that the straps aren't about to fall off your shoulder. The way you can quickly bring them up to your eye is also fabulous!

I have had 2 Tamarac leather & nylon straps for over 25 years (bought new in '87 or '88) that have been strapped on pairs of 7Ds, 30Ds, A2s, 90Ts, F1s, A1s... Wow. I can't believe that I am actually going to remove those straps once and for all. I have seen all kinds of gimmicks come and go... This is the real deal.

After using the Yeti strap on my Canon 7D for 3-4 weeks, I realized it did not fit my style of photography. The biggest reason I did not like this strap was how unsafe it was to use when changing lenses in the field. It was simply an accident waiting to happen. With a traditional camera strap the camera body is in a safe and secure position when removing and changing the lens. With the BlackRapid, the camera body hangs too low and faces downward. I found myself fumbling with the two lenses and the camera body not in safe reach. I felt I had to sit down to change the lens. However, when in the field, you cannot always find a place to sit down to make a lens change.

I searched for online tips and videos about this lens changing issue and found no good advice, but did read and see similar criticisms from other owners.

Also, I did not like my camera and lens bouncing off my hip as I moved around. It also made me a "wider" person in getting through crowded places with objects and people to my side. (Note: I am a normal sized person.)

A positive note is that I felt it was extremely comfortable to wear and felt good on my shoulders and body. I felt it was a product of very high quality construction. However, I did not feel the design was of high quality when considering that photographers do need to change lenses quickly and safely when in the field.

A second positive note is the fair and easy return policy at B&H. This policy is just another reason why you guys are #1 in my book for all my photo needs.

I am sorry the BlackRapid strap did not work out for me and do know there are many happy users out there.

Used this strap at Milwaukee Irish Fest this year where I shot about 4000 pictures. Very comfortable with one or two cameras attached. Just what I was looking for. I'm sure that I will get a lot of us out of this strap.

Comments about BlackRapid YETI Dual Camera Harness:

This is a GREAT strap if you need to carry two cameras. Being able to carry two cameras at once is very helpful when shooting sports, weddings, and other events that require the use of different lenses.

This strap makes it possible to get that perfect shot without having to stop and change your camera lens. The most useful part I found about this strap is the strap locks. These allow you to keep your secondary camera out of the way (behind your back or way off to the side) while shooting with your primary camera, but also making it easy enough to quickly grab and shoot when the situation arrives. This way you don't have a heavy camera dangling in your way if your crouched down or bending over.

Recently I used this strap on a shoot in 95 degree heat, I was sweating pretty good but the Yeti stayed comfortably on my shoulder and I didn't have any chaffing or heat rash like my stock strap has given me in similar situations.

I think the only con I could say about the Yeti is just figuring out how to wear it. But once you figure it out you quickly realize their are many ways to wear it and you can decide what works and what's comfortable.

I would HIGHLY recommend this strap for anyone who wants to carry two cameras COMFORTABLY!

Very secure. Works well with one or two cameras.
Rated it 4 stars as it is on the long side for me and I have to really shorten the straps so the camera does not hit the ground when I squat to take an image.

Comments about BlackRapid YETI Dual Camera Harness:

The shoulder pad & dual-strap design is very high-quality and is comfortable enough for a full day of carrying two Nikon D700 with 24-70 & 70-200 pro lenses mounted.

However, one part I really didn't like is that the fastener that connects to the tripod mount allows the camera to swivel freely 360 degrees as it hangs to your side. This constant rotating motion of the camera led to a lot unwanted movement. The only way to really control it was to place a hand on each camera as you walk or move around.

Comments about BlackRapid YETI Dual Camera Harness:

I purchased this dual harness knowing I would be shooting a 2 day music festival and needed to be able to use two separate bodies during that period of time but really just needed a single strap. This harness is designed to be able to break down and become a single strap with the support for under arm wear as well.
It worked perfectly and saved my neck from bearing the weight of all of that gear all weekend. My only complaint is that when using it as a single strap, the support strap that connects seperately isn't very comfortable. I ended up getting a pretty bad rash from rubbing the inside of my arm against it all night.
I really liked the connectors and appreciate that they are a very reliable and light weight metal. I would like extras to be included however. And I will definitely be picking up the hand strap with my next order.

Comments about BlackRapid YETI Dual Camera Harness:

I normally shoot with 2 cameras:

                  1. Nikon D300 with 70-200 pro lens
                  2. Nikon D800 with pro wide angle lens (normally a 14-24)

I have tried many different solutions to carry the 2 sets with me at all times and none worked very well - either would be clumsy or would be too big / look like a dork walking around.

Until I found the YETI system. This is great for me because you get to choose if you wanna use it with one camera or two.

The only thing that you need to consider is that all the weight will be in one single shoulder so after a while it might feel uncomfortable if you have two big cameras with 2 big lenses on it. For though it is perfect!

I have always hated the traditional camera strap. And as a father with two small chidren, center mass is not the place to carry a camera. I always ended up slinging the camera over my shoulder - exactly as this strap does. But without the length, and the ability to slide the camera up and quickly into position. This solves all of the problems, and as a result I've started carrying my camera more, and getting the shots I always seemed to miss because the old strap made the camera such a pain to cary.

Comments about BlackRapid YETI Dual Camera Harness:

I decided to get a Blackrapid strap after I tried one a year ago. I wanted a dual camera option and I chose the Yeti because it's less bulky than the double. I mainly bought it to shoot sports photography. I carry two cameras with 70-200mm and 24-70mm lenses and can do several games a day on the weekends. Running around trying to keep up with the action is tiring. The Yeti feels comfortable the entire day and really helps minimize the back and neck pain I feel afterward. I wasn't sure if it would weigh too heavily on one shoulder but it has been great. It's the only strap I carry. When I don't want to use two cameras I use it as a Sport.
It's more expensive than other straps but I can't say it's a con since I think the value is excellent.
Bottom line is the Yeti is awesome. I love this strap.

I originally bought BlackRapid's RS DR-1 Double Strap, but once I straped it on I felt like a mule wearing a yolk. It was bulky, confining and not terribly comfortable. So I returned it in favor of the Yeti design. This design is much better. Compact and reversable for either shoulder, also converts to a single sling when desired. It was fully functional on the street and was worn under a winter shell with the zipper unzipped from the bottom. Kept me warm, my equipment dry and safe, and still was able to remain reasonably inconspicuous.

Comments about BlackRapid YETI Dual Camera Harness:

I needed something to carry 2 cameras (a 5DmkII, and a Sony a7), and this looked to fit the bill. I looked hard at a lot of cheaper options, but decided my comfort on a long day shooting was not an area I wanted to skimp on.

I'm really glad I went for the Yeti! It's comfortable, secure, and I'm absolutely confident with it. From the first time I wore it, I felt like the cameras were SO much better positioned and easier/faster to access than with regular straps.

I just did a full wedding coverage yesterday with both cameras attached, often including a flash, with the longer of the two included bracing straps (one to go under your left arm, and one for the right), and am SO glad I had the Yeti. Switching cameras is an absolute breeze, and quickly dropping both to my sides to have two free hands to pose subjects, change lenses, adjust lights, carry things around, clap at appropriate times (!), etc. felt natural and easy. Even unclipping the cameras and leaving the Yeti on to jump in the car when changing locations was fast and almost effortless.

Black Rapid have a well thought out product here, which is also very versatile. I love that I can quickly and easily change this up to a single camera sling, and add either of the included bracing straps (I like the shorter "BRAD" strap when set up with a single camera) means I'll pretty much have this strap on me whenever I'm carrying a camera, and that might just be a lot more often than usual! :)

Finally, a perfect strap from BlackRapid! I've been using their straps since their first model and have always appreciated them. I switched to mirrorless cameras last year and felt like the DR-1 dual strap I had been using with my full-sized cameras was overkill. The YETI is fantastic! When I'm shooting with one camera I can easily convert it to a single strap with an underarm retaining strap, and when I need to carry two bodies I can swap back. The size and fit is perfect. Very happy with this strap!

I first purchased the RS-4 as a replacement strap for Canons standard strap and really liked it until it started slipping and falling off. I then got the Yeti and it takes care of all those little complaints I had about the RS-4. I love the ability of having two cameras when needed and conveniently going to a one camera config. The underarm strap is small and comfortable however I wish the tightening buckle was a little more snug. I find that it loosens when I dont want so I had to clip it to avoid that issue.

Still a great and comfortable strap.

I have two other BlackRapid straps, and I have always been satisfied with their quality and functionality.

Comments about BlackRapid YETI Dual Camera Harness:

I started with the regular RS-4 Black Rapid strap a few years ago. While I really liked wearing my camera, I wished I could carry 2 at the same time without the added bulk of the BR DR-1. The Yeti Dual Camera Harness fits the bill! In addition to the ability to carry two bodies at once, the strap also is more secure on my shoulder and doesn't slip around like the original did. I like that when I am not carrying 2 cameras, I can use the alternate underarm strap to secure the harness even more. I also like how the shoulder strap directs the camera strap down the center of the body. As a girl, this is way more comfortable.

Does the job very nicely as a single or dual camera system. Yes your shoulder will feel it after a day of shooting but your neck will thank you. I also considered the spyder holster but oped for the added security of always having the camera attached to me.
