I was a bit concerned when I purchased this case. I shoot strictly with Fuji X cameras so my options for underwater housings are limited. This Dicapac fits and works perfectly with both my X-T1 & X-Pro 1. I have used it a handful of times photographing Great Lakes Surfers on Lake Michigan. I have tested it with my 14mm and 35mm and it works flawlessly. The only thing I came across was the tendency for it to fog over on the outside due to the extremely cold water here. This was kind of handled with a little spit. I would recommend this to anyone looking to take their camera in the water. Great Product!!!

Comments about DiCAPac Waterproof Case for Mirrorless Camera:

I used this with a Lumix GX7 on a rafting trip, through big rapids. First time, I was pressing it too tightly against front of the retractable 14-42 PZ lens, and it disabled the lens. Next time I used a looser grip and it performed well. Shooting video through Hell's Half Mile, the roar of the rapids and wind was muffled but rapids still audible.

Probably not the best image quality shooting through that plastic lens, but still acceptable. You can't manipulate the zoom button on the lens, but it is possible on the GX7 to zoom via the touch screen. You have to turn off the EVF sensor though, as the bag will trigger it and shut down the LCD.

A little tight getting camera in an out of bag -- some kind of bellows along the sides would help. The finger pocket enables basic camera functions.

For around $50, it works -- kept my camera from being splashed by big waves. But don't think I would trust it submerged to 16', as it's rated. Could also be a big advantage in extremely windy/sandy scenarios.

Comments about DiCAPac Waterproof Case for Mirrorless Camera:

I bought this case to use with a Sony a5100. If you use the 16-50mm kit lens, you will have to use the lens port extension ring. Even so, you won't be able to zoom to the extreme telephoto end without your lens bumping up against the lens port. It does what it is supposed to do--keep your camera dry in wet conditions. I haven't experienced any leaks so far, and image quality is very good. With the a5100, you are able to access the most basic functions: turn the camera on/off, and operate the power zoom and the shutter. There is no way to operate a zoom ring on your lens, so make sure your lens has a power zoom if you want that function while using the case. While it is a bit bulky to carry around, once you are in the water it's not very cumbersome. It's nice that it comes with a neck strap for when you are snorkeling or swimming. My only concern is the O-rings in the lens port extension ring. While the manual doesn't specify any type of maintenance for this part, I wonder if it might be a good idea to occasionally apply some silicone grease on it so it doesn't dry out or crack and allow water intrusion. Overall, it's a very good product for not a lot of money.

Comments about DiCAPac Waterproof Case for Mirrorless Camera:

Had to have original order replaced. The zipper seal was extremely finicky and required a lot of fidgeting before the two sides would clasp together. Replacement was much better but still finicky.

Once sealed it does fine keeping the water out. You must test it before taking it under but it stayed sealed even when 'waving' the camera about.

I bought this for my Fuji Xt-1, product seems to be well constructed for what it is. I was disappointed to find out that both my 23mm and 56mm lens barrels are just barely too large to fit through the lens port. I will have to return it and go with the WP-S5.

It's sort of clunky to use, but it doesn't affect IQ & keeps the camera dry. Great for splashing around in the white wash, or on a river, but I wouldn't trust it in anything to serious. I have already gotten some great shots with it, and of $ bucks, ya can't beat it.

I use this case for a Fujifilm X-T1 with the 18 – 55 mm lens (this is the largest lens that will work with this case). The dials and buttons are accessible via the finger hole in the side. I haven't had a problem with leaks, and the case is compact enough that it isn't burdensome. I recommend it for snorkeling, shooting in rain and keeping sand off lens and camera body.

I'm using this with my Fuji X-Pro1 for surface "halfs" where 50% of the frame is below the water and 50% is above. Also just for general protection while boating. I like the cost and functionality. We will see how it holds up over time.

If you have long lenses this ain't for you, obviously manual focus is out - never fogged, no agua on my camera and I'm very happy with it... Can't wait to jump in a pool with it

I'm a photojournalist for a TV station. Over the last few years my duties have increased to not only shooting video but stills for or web page, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. I work the overnight shift so my IPhone will not cut it in the dark. I use my personal cameras ( Sony A6 & A6000. ) to shoot in all kind of conditions. From heavy rain to snow to being sprayed from fire hoses I needed to keep my cameras totally dry. This looked like it would work and it has so far.

Comments about DiCAPac Waterproof Case for Mirrorless Camera:

So far, I've used this on an ocean kayaking expedition, and in the pouring rain, and my camera stayed completely dry. Haven't had the opportunity to take underwater shots yet, but I expect that to work just as well. It's a little hard to wrestle the camera into the case, but worth the effort.

Maybe good for a smaller MILC but not good for my Nex-7. Just fit with my smaller lens, so no zooming. I was hoping to use it for kayaking, but without zoom and DMF, not a good fit.

Definitely a great product for the price. I've been using it for about two weeks now and have fully submerged my OM-D in the ocean, lakes and rivers with no problems. It is a little hard to use some of the button through the case, but hey what do you expect for the price.
