The IFB576-A Featherweight Dual Color LED Light with Anton Bauer Battery Mount Plate from ikan is a reduced weight LED source with 576 LED lamps.

Adaptability is a key characteristic of the design of the IFB576-A. Instead of having you choose between a daylight or tungsten balanced source or deal with cumbersome gel filters, ikan includes 3,200K and 5,600K LEDs in the same panel allowing you to respond to the prevailing color temperature by setting the IFB576-A to either setting or any temperature between. ikan makes it easy with a large, highly visible LCD touchscreen that offers full function control of the output. If your IFB576-A is out of reach, ikan has that covered with the inclusion of a wireless remote control. The IFB576-A reaches 10,344 lux/961.3 fc in brightness at a 3' distance with the color temperature set to 4000K.

The IFD576-A is supplied with a multi-voltage AC power supply and preinstalled Sony V-Mount plate for 14.4V battery power in the field. The sturdy polymer and aluminum fixture features 4 way light intensifier barndoors that fold flat to the light to form a protective shell. Each barndoor has convenient gel clips. The yoke mount terminates in a 5/8" receiver for stand mounting or hanging overhead.

Comments about ikan IFB576-A Featherweight Dual Color LED Light with Anton Bauer Battery Plate:

We've only used the lights twice, both times for an interview. Once we used outside with a battery. but were easy to use, and with dials, etc great to set. My only suggestion would be for a better case—both for single light and the two-light package. Also, be better if power supply had a longer cord.

Great hair / highlight light. Needs boom stand with counter weight. A little pricey for what you get, but nice features and did what I purchased it for.

Comments about ikan IFB576-A Featherweight Dual Color LED Light with Anton Bauer Battery Plate:

I bought two of these lights to use as key lights for two-camera sit down interviews. I'm a 30 plus year freelance cameraman who works for all the networks as well as documentary and corporate work.

These are the first LED lights I've ever bought. I've been using LED lights supplied by a couple of the networks. Ran into a buddy of mine who works for CNN in Atlanta and he raved about them. LED lights are tricky to buy. Especially when the money is coming out of your own pocket. As a freelance cameraman who does regular work for high end clients both US and international, I need good gear but I don't want to waste money.

These lights supply a very nice wide soft light. Had more than enough punch for any of the two camera sit-down interviews I shot over the last couple of weeks. No, they are not as strong as an HMI but the color quality was beautiful. Best yet for me was being able to easily adjust the level of light with the on-board dimmer control, getting the exact light level I wanted to make the interview subject, and more importantly, the correspondent looking their best.

Yes, this is a flood LED. Not a spot. But I had no problems controlling the light spill. You can't use these barn doors like you would with a normal tungsten light. But I did use them with some nice diffusion clipped on to really help narrow the light somewhat while avoiding the dreaded spotty lines any LED produces when you try and barn-door down the light source.

Quality of build was good. Much lighter but still sturdy than other models. The price was perfect and, even though that number kept my expectations down a bit, the unit itself brought those expectations right back up to where they should be. No buyers remorse here.

I did buy a couple of Photoflex swivel mounts to use with this light head. It gave me the freedom to hang the light off my C-stands and get whatever angle I wanted rather than being limited to a normal straight up stand.

Having the bicolor option is great. I was so pleased to see how much more freedom I have to move lights around because I'm running them off of my Anton Bauer batteries. They last forever! No more nonsense and wasted time moving power cords around. Keeps clients happier because I can work faster and get a better image more quickly! Plus LED lights never get too hot to handle so I can tear down and pack up after a shoot to quickly move to another location! Time is money with any client so not every purchase lies solely on one variable.

Their light weight makes them easy to hang/fly on my C-stands. Before, with my Diva lights, I often needed a second person to safely put them up. That is no longer a concern with these units.

Check prices and you'll quickly see the size and power of these lights, as well as their quality build, should put these at the top of anyone's list if they are starting to move into a complete LED light package. Tungsten is dead!

I bought two of these to use for sit-down interviews.

              Love the weight!

              Love the color control!

Love how I can run them off my Anton Bauer Dionic batteries!

Love the quality of the "build"!

I added a Photoflex swivel head so I could hang them better off of my C-stands. It still kept the total price to buy two of them well below what I would pay for comparable LED light heads from other manufacturers. I'm a network level freelancer who also keeps a firm eye on my bottom line equipment budget. I don't want to spend money on something that does not live up to the sell or something I don't really use all the time. This light head exceeded all my expectations.

The included diffuser makes the light very even.

To be honest...I'll never use the remote control. It seems a little "cheap" but...what remote control today doesn't? However the light head itself, especially the barn doors, are surprisingly solid.

A friend of mine who works for CNN was using one. That's where I first saw it and he raved about it

Another network buddy of my has a comparable sized Flo Light. Their barn doors are not as well built and the purchase price for his were well above this one. I preferred saving a couple of hundred dollars getting these!

If I make one recommendation...get the Photoflex swivel mount so you can fly/mount these lights on a stand better. Otherwise the yoke mount limits you somewhat. But that is the only minor negative worth mentioning.

Solid construction while keeping total weight to a minimum!

              Great for today's traveling professional!

Comments about ikan IFB576-A Featherweight Dual Color LED Light with Anton Bauer Battery Plate:

This is a great light. All the color temperatures you need! Get a manual white balance with this light off, and then dial in whatever color temperature your camera reads... I got this with the ikan 1024 light, which is the big brother to this one. They make a great combo. I saw it demonstrated at the CCW show this Fall and fell in love with it. I didn't even realize it comes with a wireless remote until I got it. The remote is amazing! Control on/off, light intensity and color temperature... all wirelessly. I got it with the Anton/Bauer plate, and a Dionic 90 will power it for hours! Great for running and gunning from location to location. And did I mention it comes with a hefty light stand? I am a videographer, which is not listed as a choice for describing myself.
