There is also a dedicated compartment in the back of the bag for a 10" tablet.

A modular internal UltraFlex divider system allows you to choose one of two compartment configurations for storing your photo gear in the bag. The first is the dual compartment option featuring a separate top area and a main camera area with quick side-access to your camera. The configuration can be changed by pulling a red tab on the central divider and folding it down, making a more spacious main compartment in the bag.

For storing smaller items, the Transit Sling has a hidden passport pocket on the outside of the front flap, and a zippered accessory pocket with a key chain strap on the inside. There is an open mesh pocket along the back inside the top compartment. For carrying the bag, you can use the sling strap as well as the nylon webbed grab handle at the top of the bag.

ok lets get to the 5% bad part if you use a battery grip with your APC dslr like a nikon D7000 you can not use the side flap door to get it out so you have to open up the whole bag to get it out.the camera will fit fine with the grip attach to it. same goes for full frame camera like the D600 now lets take about the 95% its just perfect !!!! if you are seeking a light, comfortable easy to get in and out of then you have found it. i use this bag for city sightseeing, traveling light i have use the following a d7000 with 18-300mm lens getting in and out no problems ...a d7000 with 17-50mm lens no issue there also inside the bag where the divider are i can carry a sb700 flash and prime lens in the top part of the bag i carry my strap and battery grip it also has room in the back of the bag for a tablet now i use a nexus 7 tablet and it has no issue of fitting in there but i mostly use this to carry personal items so they will be kept zip up. i encourage you to go to this store or place that has this bag along with other bags like this thats what i did and i choose this bag it fit me just right

Typically, Lowepro bags are excellent quality and good value. (I own two others). I was pleased with the design idea of the Transit 250AW, and I was wanting a slimmer profile bag. It was working until I tried to get my D7000 out the quick access side door. The opening isn't large enough for both the camera and the hand holding the camera, to get it out the opening without substantial maneuvering. A bit too much of a hassle. It would be an excellent choice for a mirrorless camera and lenses.

Comments about Lowepro Transit Sling 250 AW (Slate Grey):

Bought this bag to protect my D800E with 14-24mm lens during big hikes as I did not want to carry my bigger Lowepro as it was heavy. This is a light weight compact bag. I was surprised that it fits my D800 + 14-24mm Nikkor. The side opening is a bit small but can't complain about it. It is not meant for pro cameras with pro lens. But exactly what I was looking for. I just slid the bad in my bigger hiking backpack and actually did not feel much weight from the bag itself.

This is about the fourth attempt to get a sling bag that betters my Osprey sling bag from REI. This bag would become my "go to" bag IF it had more pockets to stick things and attach things.

I have a Nikon with several lenses up to a 300mm. I wanted to have my camera and 300mm lense attached with the lense shade in the bag so that It is easy to pull out and use. It worked great and I can store my wide angle lense in the side pouch quick and easy. You can arrange your equipment in a varity of ways. I would recommend this to anyone who is on the go and wants hands free until you are ready to use your camera.

I like everything about it, if I had four arms and four hands I would buy another one

This might be the best backpack I've ever owned. The versatility of the inner compartments is awesome, and it is very comfortable to wear with the one diagonal strap with or without the connector strap if you want a more secure fit. One of my favorite features is how easily accessible your camera is with the bottom/side pocket when you slide the bag around to your front side.

This compact bag carries my Lumix GH3, 2 additional lenses, flash, filters, tripod and still has room for my Ipad.

It's comfortable to carry and the price was good as usual at B&H.

The only drawback is the somewhat limited ability to resize the inner sections.

Now I can carry my MFT kit light and easy.

Very easy access to camera, comfortable and just exactly what I need.

Comments about Lowepro Transit Sling 250 AW (Slate Grey):

Another high quality bag from lowepro. It has a very casual non-photo bag style to it. The fit and finish is great. Storage wise, there's not the largest amount. You may fit either 2 non-telephoto primes or 1 zoom lens in the main compartment. The larger upper has a decent amount of room, you can fit 4 large giottos rocket blowers to give an idea of size. Quite comfortable for a sling bag. Sling bags will always put weight on one shoulder and slightly tug your shirt as you wear it. But it doesn't rub or put any uneven pressure spots on me. I can fit my Nikon D7000 with a 18-105mm with the hood attached in use mode (not reversed for storage) and it fit's just fine with a good 2 inches to spare. The fit is tighter than the slingshot aw250 so it doesn't wabble around much. But it may be a little tight because it can't be pulled out without rubbing the opening. With use it's gotten easier and more flexible though. It has decent padding for small bumps, but it must still be toted around with care if you don't want damage to the camera. Overall great bag.

Comments about Lowepro Transit Sling 250 AW (Slate Grey):

Typically, Lowepro bags are excellent quality and good value. (I own two others). I was pleased with the design idea of the Transit 250AW, and I was wanting a slimmer profile bag. It was working until I tried to get my D7000 out the quick access side door. The opening isn't large enough for both the camera and the hand holding the camera, to get it out the opening without substantial maneuvering. A bit too much of a hassle. It would be an excellent choice for a mirrorless camera and lenses.

This bag is perfect for the traveling photographer! Slim and extremely light weight. Inlove the fact that you don't have to open the entire bag to get equipment out. Has a little side zipper for bottom half. Fits 60d and 3-4 lenses comfortably, plus iPad space in back pocket and room for personal items. Easy to Carry and very comfortable. Does not look like the normal bulky camera backpacks!

Comments about Lowepro Transit Sling 250 AW (Slate Grey):

I love the overall feel of this case, and the inclusion of an iPad pocket is incredible. But overall it's too small. The iPad only fits (barely) with no cover, and there's just not a lot of room for camera. I was hoping this was more like a 202 sling with and added pocket for an iPad. Still better than most slings, and definitely Lowepro quality.
