Comments about General Brand 67mm-62mm Step-Down Ring (Lens to Filter):

Unless constant change of filter/adapter (This brand is not the smoothest and gets stuck sometimes, hence price), this product provides its intended use in a low cost manner. My purchase was to use in conjunction with other adapters (62-52) and epoxy as to provide step for a Nikon F-mount (BR-2).

Comments about General Brand 67mm-62mm Step-Down Ring (Lens to Filter):

              your lens diameter is 67mm.
              your filter size is 62mm.

this ring is nicely done with matt-finish,thread is curved smoothly.Works fine.

*attaching smaller filter to bigger lens cause unavoidable "vignetting" effect(darkening of the perimeter of a photographic image).it's commonsense, not the product's defect.

              solution:
1.use it for lenses focal length more than 80 mm. vignetting effect would be reduced.

Comments about General Brand 67mm-62mm Step-Down Ring (Lens to Filter):

I needed to set myself up for some macro work and although extension tubes are on my wish list they were not in the budget this past month. Remembering that I had a set of 30 year old close up filters stashed with my Topcon 35 mm I dug them out only to find that they were just a touch too small for my Canon EFS 17-85. The Step Down Ring was just the ticket and although there is a slight vignette at the extreme edges this is something that can be accounted for in composition and post production.
Although more Canon L glass is on my future wish lists and an L macro would be nice I'd recommend this solution to anyone who hasn't yet hit the lottery.
