If you're needing a wifi only tablet then this is the one to get. Super fast, super resolution and great price. Replaced my 2 year old Sony tab with this one and will be buying another one soon for the wife.

Comments about ASUS 32GB MeMO Pad FHD 10 Tablet (Royal Blue):

I got this tablet so I can have something larger than my Nexus 7 to edit photos on, especially while traveling when I don't what to take a heavier laptop with me.

The screen is clear and bright enough for my use, and the sound is pretty decent. There are a few minor quirks however:

The Android OS updates seem to be a few versions behind. I think I'm working with 4.2, while the Nexus 7 is up to 4.4.2 (Kitkat).

When I plug in to external speakers, the tablet automatically reduces the sound volume and I can't re-adjust it to be louder. This is something that Asus has instituted and I've commented to them that this is not a feature I want.

When I first turned it on, the interface defaulted to a bunch of Asus "stuff"ware, with screens, apps and such that I don't want and don't need. However, with a bit of tweaking, I was able to get it back to a more "pure" Android look and feel.

Overall, a good tablet at a good price. I'm looking forward to using it more extensively for photo editing and viewing.

Comments about ASUS 32GB MeMO Pad FHD 10 Tablet (Royal Blue):

I bought this tablet primarily to read ebooks and pdf documents. The screen size and resolution is very satisfying to my need. Video streaming from Youtube and Netflix is also very smooth. The two speakers deliver better and balanced sound quality than the single speaker in iPad. Battery may not be able to last 10 hours if you are watching videos most of the time but should easily hold for a day or two after full charge for modest everyday use. Overall very good tablet at this price!

This is my first tablet, so not much to compare it with. I wanted to match the operation of my android phone, and it does. Having fun learning all the features. So far so good. Great price also.

Comments about ASUS 32GB MeMO Pad FHD 10 Tablet (Royal Blue):

I have used various brands of PCs over the years: Lenovo, Toshiba, Dell, HP. Almost all of them have this or that performance/design/hardware related problems. Lenovo video card overheats, Toshiba is bulky and ugly, Dell gives me bluescreen and HP harddrive fails and fan get crazy loud. My Asus laptop, however, looks sleek and performs flawlessly: fast, responsive, quiet. So I bought the tablet based on my laptop experience. My Asus LED displays are quite impressive too. The tablet is not the most responsive in my opinion (Intel chips?). My Nexus 5 is much faster than this tab, but for the price I'm satisfied with my purchase. The plastic back isn't a looker, but does offer more grip. I also like the fact that it doesn't customize the hell out of Android like Kindle Fire HD does. It now replaces my laptop on business trips. All I have to bring is a tiny bluetooth keyboard :-)

Comments about ASUS 32GB MeMO Pad FHD 10 Tablet (Royal Blue):

This is my first tablet and experience with Android. Chose this for its supposed processor speed, RAM, screen resolution, and amenities of SD card slot and HDMI connection at a better price than an ipad. Got a 10 inch for its easier viewing and use over 7-inch.

I use this for internet and email and some work. I hoped the size would be easier to travel with instead of my laptop. Plus, my local newpaper cutback on delivered editions and can only be read online on certain days. I hoped this easier to use than the laptop at the breakfast table and on the bus.

After several weeks of use I'm not disappointed but a bit frustrated with certain features.

The screen is bright enough and clear enough for me. I can't compare it to a retina screen but no complaints here.

The processor seems to lag on certain activities. For example, the downloaded version of the newspaper stutters when scrolling. I tried the same paper on an ipad and scrolling was smooth.

I agree with certain reviewers that the battery continues to discharge when plugged in with the tab still being used. That should not be. Battery endurance better than expected, but haven't watched much media on it.

The camera is adequate for occasional photos but a 10-inch tab is not conducive to heavy photographic use. I prefer my point-and-shoot which fits in my pocket. We were recently at a national park and the tourists using tabs to take pictures looked very awkward.

The flimsy stand that came in the box is only useful with the tab positioned horizontally. I got a tri-fold cover as soon as I could.

The lack of a keyboard connection has not been an issue for me. Screen keyboard well-spaced to easily use with index finger typing.

The speakers are so-so. Rear-pointed speakers will always be inferior. Not impressed with onboard sound software.

My biggest frustration for me is Android. For example, i want to turn off the keyboard clicking while typing this but it is not obvious how to. I went into Settings/Sound and unchecked Touch sounds but that did not turn off the keyboard clicking. I was frustrated with trying to copy and paste. Had to go out on the internet to learn how. It would be very helpful to have built-in tutorial for basic Android use.

This tab was not compatible with a certain popular airline's in-flight tv/movie system, ipads and laptops were.

So overall, while this tab and Android have their limitations, I'm generally satisfied with the purchase for the price. I was hoping for a slightly better experience.
