• HDMI x3 1080p/24Hz Deep Color Inputs: If you're looking to pump high-definition DVD playback into your HD displays or projectors, this receiver will do the job. It has a high-bandwidth processor capable of transferring 1080p through the HDMI (v 1.3) output; this technology ensures Blu-ray video compatibility.

• High Current Power Supply (H.C.P.S.): It features a Massive High Power Transformer for audio and video processing, which shields out unwanted magnetic fields. Built with over-sized capacitors capable of delivering breathtaking headroom, with an outstanding audio signal-to-noise.

• Audyssey Dynamic EQ: When the output volume is adjusted, this feature selects the best possible frequency response and surround sound levels with minimal audio distortion.

• iPod Connectivity: Remote Interactive (RI) capability enables you to simply connect your iPod to your receiver through Onkyo's RI Dock option for the iPod (DS-A2, DS-A2X). Your iPod effectively becomes another Onkyo component flowing through the system.

• CinemaFILTER Technology: Onkyo's proprietary CinemaFILTER restores the correct tonal balance to movie soundtracks that can otherwise be edgy and bright when played back over home audio equipment - this is because film soundtracks are designed to be played back in large theaters, using commercial equipment.

• Theater-Dimensional Circuitry: With this mode you can enjoy a virtual 5.1 surround sound even with only 2 or 3 speakers. This is achieved by controlling how sounds reach your left and right ears. The listening angle can be set at either 20° or 40°.

• Component Video and Digital Audio Inputs: Featuring (2) component video inputs for high-resolution low-distortion video reproduction, and (2) optical/(1) coaxial digital audio inputs for high quality audio reproduction.

• Front-Panel Portable Audio Jack: A convenient front-panel mini-jack input offers the ability to easily connect your iPod, MP3 or other portable audio devices.

• 5.1-Channel Speaker System: The center channel speaker, (2) front satellite speakers, and (2) rear surround satellite speakers provide the soundstage, plus an 8" down-firing (130W) subwoofer provides the impact for the low frequencies.
