This FireWire 9-pin to 9-pin 6' Cable will connect two IEEE 1394b-compliant components for multiple-stream video. Ideally suited for high-bandwith transfers, this cable will connect DV devices and FireWire hard drives to FireWire- or i-Link-equipped computers or other IEEE-1394 peripherals with serial bus or PCI cards.

Note: For IEEE 1394b cables, 15 feet is the maximum distance of safe cable construction. For longer distances use a compliant FireWire repeater.
