• Exceptional Digital Decoding: This system uses specific Dolby Digital and DTS codecs to reproduce an enveloping 5.1-Channel surround sound experience. The unit encodes Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, DTS, DTS 96/24, DTS-ES Discrete/Matrix 6.1, DTS Neo:6, and XM Surround.

• Powerful Speaker Array: It offers 82W total power, two 3 15/16" woofers, and twenty-one 1 5/8" beam drivers that deliver clear, high frequencies and lifelike imaging.

• My Beam Mode: It features a wide variety of beam settings. The My Beam mode focuses the sound at a specific listening position, so even in noisy surroundings you can hear dialogue and other sounds clearly.

• High-Quality 24-bit Audio Processing: Yamaha's 24-bit digital-to-analog converter is the backbone to the unit's exceptional multichannel audio conversion. • SRS TruBass: It uses harmonics to make the bass from small speakers deeper and richer for a more dynamic bass sound.
