The 3-Port FireWire-800 PC Card from LaCie adds two FireWire-800 ports and one FireWire-400 port to your notebook computer. The FireWire-800 interface allows for speeds of up to 100 MB/sec, while FireWire-400 delivers 50 MB/sec. FireWire will allow you to connect external drives, digital video cameras, and other devices to your computer.

This card adds support for both FireWire-800 and FireWire-400 devices to your notebook, allowing you to directly plug in up to three peripherals.
