This workshop will help you find direction as a Wedding Photographer. Lisa will talk to you about how she found her niche in a very over saturated British market and has forged a successful career shooting alternative and creative weddings. She will explore techniques that can help to ensure that you stand out from the crowd, whatever level you are at. There will be practical tips on branding, marketing and how to get the clients you really connect with. She will also cover how to shoot images that stand out because they truly reflect that couple. She will look at how to develop your own style and find the confidence to follow your own path. Lisa's work is in demand from Wedding Magazines and Wedding Blogs all over the world so she will be discussing shooting images that are strong for editorial and blogs. She will then give practical advice on how to submit your work and make sure you have a positive online presence.

Lisa Devlin

Lisa Devlin ( her career as a music industry photographer before switching to weddings in 2000. She was the first wedding photographer to be given an award by the revered British Journal of Photography. She has done talks for Hasselblad alongside Royal Wedding Photographer Hugo Bernard and spoken at Christchurch University where her work is being studied as part of the New Wave of British Wedding Photographers. She is a regular contributor to UK Photography Magazines and writes for the Green Room business section of the Rock n Roll Bride Blog. Her weddings have been featured on Style Me Pretty and Ruffled as well as several European blogs. Her style is eclectic and quirky and she attracts clients that are excited about coming up with some original imagery from their weddings. She runs workshops in the UK including the three day Photography Farm ( and sells colour and B&W Photoshop Actions.(
