Product Information

The JVC MV-P618U is a high sensitivity electret condenser shotgun microphone designed for use with compatible JVC color video cameras. The microphone features a unidirectional pick up pattern that provides a focused pick up range while providing maximum rejection of ambiance and noise located at the off-axis sections of the microphone. The result makes the microphone suitable for capturing signal in noisy or highly ambient environments. The frequency response of 200Hz to 10kHz favors signals at the mid-range, making it most responsive to vocal signals, while eliminating noise born at low frequencies. The MV-P618 features a balanced 3-pin XLR connection and requires 48V phantom power to operate.

Features

• Designed for JVC Cameras

The MV-P618 is designed for direct integration with JVC's color series cameras. Depending on the model, an optional KA-A Series microphone holder may be required (refer to user manual).

• 3-pin XLR Output

The microphone features a balanced 3-pin XLR output, allowing complete compatibility with camera's and power sources featuring XLR inputs. The microphone operates on +48V phantom power.

• Unidirectional pick up

The unidirectional pick up pattern results in a focused pick up range while providing maximum rejection of ambiance and noise located at the off-axis sections of the microphone.
