CineWave Classic RT now includes over twenty real-time uncompressed effects at no extra charge when used with Apple's Final Cut Pro. This is more RT effects than any other uncompressed or DV Final Cut Pro based solution on the market.

Use CineOffline to edit lower-resolution modes with reduced data rates, for more flexible offline/online workflows in both SD and HD. The TARGA Cine codecs are best of breed with both 8-bit and 16-bit YUV and 8-bit RGBA codecs. Cinewave Classic RT is uniquely suited for broadcast designers, graphic artist or video editors who already own Final Cut Pro or Commotion Pro and are looking to create graphic intensive intros, outros, IDs, and promos.

CineWave has two digital tether ports for connecting to a family of SD and HD breakout boxes for flexible I/O options. With just one system, you can do everything from create a DV film, master DVDs, to output uncompressed SD or HD resolution footage. Upgrading to Cinewave RT™ or Cinewave HD™ is as easy as attaching a new breakout box or loading new software.The scalable architecture allows you the flexibility that you need all on the same base system.

• TARGA Cine Codec

The TARGA Cine™ codecs offer true 8- and 16-bit YUV and 8-bit RGBA support. You can even edit with the TARGA Cine software codec on a computer that does not have a TARGA Cine Engine.

• CineAcquire

All Cinewave solutions include the new, robust CineAcquire™ application and plug-in module for Commotion Pro and After Effects. CineAcquire allows you to quickly and easily do everything from grab a frame to batch capture with complete RS-422 deck and device control in NTSC/PAL and widely used HD* formats.

• Native QuickTime

QuickTime® native from start to finish. CineWave easily integrates with a variety of QuickTime native applications including Commotion Pro, After Effects, combustion,and Pro Tools.

• QuickTime video-out

QuickTime video-out support for NTSC/PAL and HD* is provided on demand through the standard QuickTime Movie Player or in Commotion Pro, After Effects, or combustion through their native QuickTime viewer or RAM preview. You can even simultaneously play out to tape up to four 10-bit uncompressed SD streams or two 10-bit uncompressed SD streams and one uncompressed HD* stream, using CineWave's standard dual Digital Tethers™.

Cinewave also works in both offline and online modes. Use CineOffline™ and/or Final Cut Pro's OfflineRT to edit at reduced data rates, for more flexible offline/online workflows in both SD and HD.

• Multi Resolution Timeline

Use uncompressed full resolution clips for complex composite/effects shots and lower resolution clips for straight cuts, in the same timeline without rendering. When you are finished, you can always conform and output the highest quality for the entire project.

• Multi Format

Cinewave Classic provides numerous capabilities for acquisition, post-production, and delivery in many formats, including: DV, DigiBeta, uncompressed 601, PAL, NTSC, 4:3, 16:9, and Web. You always have the option to upgrade to Cinewave RT or Cinewave HD without changing the underlying system configuration.
