The Deluxe LU053Q SuperCycler works with all Lumedyne Battery Modules, (Mini, Regular, Super and Ultra) to provide Super fast recycling and tremendous flashes per charge for most shoe and handle mount flash units. This unit features dual recessed connectors with short circuit protection and a Low Battery Warning, "LBW", indicator.

Note
Some flash units require batteries or one LUBXVM in the 6 or 9 volt battery compartment.
Many of today's high tech flash units require the internal AA batteries to be installed to power the computer and low voltage features like the power reflector. The Cycler provides most of the recycling power causing the AA batteries to last much longer. AA Battery life depends on stand-by time, use of the power reflector and/or internal backlight, among other factors. When the AA batteries run down, the flash will not operate, even though the Cycler is keeping the flash unit's capacitors fully charged.
